Pros +
- The staff was very friendly and helpful. The airline had lost one of our cases and they assured us that if it arrived they would put it in our room, which they did. I would give them a 12/10
- Cell phone with data plan available to use during your stay. Room was as expected.
- The room was good and spacious and the bathroom had a bathtub and great water pressure. The bed was very comfortable. The availability of the kitchenette in the room and a small dining table really enhanced our experience as we were able to reheat food and gave us the option of getting take out from places. They gave us an early check in which I am grateful for.
Cons -
- Riding elevator 2x to get to the room. Very confusing on the first day. Water to the sink is not heated. Fridge is smells and does not work. It has stove but no cooking pots and utensils.
- goodnight I made a reservation with you at the hotel le patio bastille, the worst thing I could have done, I get to my room to take a shower and there is no hot water, I call the receptionist and he tells me he can't do anything, total lack of respect.
- We had to go down a few stairs to get to the elevator for our room. They did have someone take our main suitcase as my husband was using a cane.

No elevator in the building I stayed in.

This hotel has three towers. There is one close to the reception and the last one is a 500 m walk from the reception with many logistical hoops (one staircase and two elevator changes). We were given a room in the last one. This aspect wasn't ideal especially when one had to trudge their heavy bags through this obstacle course after a full day of travel. The hotel, probably knowing that this can be an irritant for clients, didn't even offer to help with our bags during check in and check out. There was also a different in the city tax we paid for this hotel versus the other in Paris for the same number of nights which irked me, not because I had to pay the tax but that there was no explanation about the difference.
The hotel staff members were exceptional. Very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They answered all of our questions and concerns. The hotel room clean however the bathroom was small and had no vent. Hotel has underground parking, which was very narrow and $$. The patio area looks just as it did online and it was the perfect spot to read during our downtime.
The room was smaller than I had anticipated. The lift was a tight fit with baggage and we were on the 6th floor. The beds could have been more comfortable but for our stay it worked out.
Comfortable. Space. Staff
Breakfast cost, quality and location

There was no hot water the first day of my stay and also the elevator was not working. It started working the next day but we had already had to climb the stairs with our luggages.
Breakfast buffet was reasonably priced with reasonable hours and had good offerings. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable. There were no less than *3* metro stations under a 10 minute walk away plus bus service right outside on the street. Bakeries and a laundromat a couple of blocks away.
The staff was very friendly and helpfull.
They did not see to the rooms over weekends. They only made the bed. There were no coffee and tea put in över the weekends. We had to phone 06h00 to ask for toiletpaper. The bed was not n propper double bed, we dont mind the single beds put together as a United. But in this case the one bed was higher than the other, do it means my husband was sleeping higher than me. The rooms also did mot offer extra blankets.Must admid for the price we paid, the hotel did not meet our expectations.Although the receptionist staff was very helpfull and friendly.
Lovely staff.
smoking and crying children
There was some hair on the sheets, and a stain on the floor. I had to walk through two courtyards and take two elevators or two sets of stairs to get from entrance to my room. Walls were thin. Only two cans of water provided across four nights, never refreshed. Sheets were low quality and could have been cleaner.
Nice courtyard and staff ensure is fairly clean facility all the time. They are very helpful and friendly!
It was a bit far out but super accessible to the metro. People access their rooms through the courtyard which sometimes the are loud and talking which can be heard from your room at night as the windows face out to courtyard.
Breakfast was nice & warm and clean area,
Not enough light in room. Door hard to open & close
Excellent staff. Good breakfast and convenient location
Convenient to metro, cute patio, lighting. Clean, good room size and quiet.
It was just a journey to get to my room back and forth, its very inconvenient when you have luggage and no help. A little sketchy neighborhood at night. Walls are thin and my neighbors were annoying
We stayed here for one night at the end of a 3-week trip around Europe, and it was exactly what we needed. We came into Gare de Lyon and walked about 15 minutes to get to the hotel. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and most importantly, it had really good air conditioning. Walking around the neighborhood took us by many inviting restaurants and cafes, and made finding places to eat very easy. The staff were all very welcoming and kind as well.
There was a bit of noise from the room next to ours, but it was negligible.
The staff was kind and helpful
The room was so small, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, the baseboards were dirty and it overall was disappointing.
Comfortable room. Staff were great, very helpful with everything. Breakfast was good
We loved the courtyard patios, friendly staff and local restaurants. Rooms were very comfortable, with all amenities. Breakfast was very good too.
A little too far to walk to major attractions, meant many Ubers!
