Friendly and receptionist and excellent service.
Even though, I booked literally in the second prior arrival, the price was unreasingly high for the size of the 'shoe box', I was sleeping in.
Good location, express breakfast which is a cheaper option than standard, friendly staff, nice lobby.
My room was tiny and there was a disturbing smell in it which made one wonder if it was clean. Maybe the smell comes from the carpet, bed upholstery, walls, lamps. Might all need a deep clean or replacement as it's old. The room temperature was too cold from the air condition. I couldn't set it lower. So, I stopped it, opened the window and the smell seemed to go away after 2 hours. It may come from the air condition. I don't know.
We know this hotel quite well in which we have stayed a couple of times already. Very close to Gare the Lyon. Street is not busy. Room not a the street, so quiet. It is a nice hotel, for a 4*. Equipments remain basic. Staff welcoming. Confortable beds. You can do tea or coffee. A bit old style (shower tap!). If you can get it at 150-180€ it is a good deal.
A bit old style (tap, no merge function on the tap/faucet. Why do they keep "carpet" floor, why are less "clean".
The staff were very helpful and sorted out a problem with the room heating and hot water very quickly
The lift seemed difficult to work
Booked for an over night stay before catching early train to Milan. No breakfast but otherwise facilities were adequate and as expected

Location
No safe fire exit /Dirty sheets / tiny single beds in twin room / so hot as air con turned off for winter
nothing really
the rooms were tiny, it took us about 20 minutes to check in because there was only one member of staff and they were on the phone. the heating was broken and the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling
Stylish, vintage and modern. Location close to rail but a short distance to remain peaceful.
Airconditioning not working!
Location was excellentRooms very small but clean and comfortable
Bar area was confused
Staff very helpful, breakfast good.
I forgot how small some rooms in city hotels can be. Not a relaxing space.o
Well I chose this hotel purely for it's location to the Gare de Lyon and in that respect 10 out 10. This was a one night stay after a long day travelling so I cannot comment with authority about the public areas however what I saw was clean, bright and interestingly quirky. My single room was probably the smallest hotel room I have stayed in however the bed was comfortable which is really all I needed. The bathroom was clean and adequate but matched the room for size. Central Paris is an expensive place to stay so it is what it is.
Size of the room when looking at the cost.
Staff was excellent.Bed was comfortable.Hotel breakfast was very good.Surrounding restaurants were good.
Location is not the best…….sex shops were in the area. If sitting outside at local restaurants homeless people were not bashful about coming to your table looking for money.Solid 35-40 minute walk to Notre Dame Cathedral…..not a terrible walk along the river.
The decor was nice.
The lift stopped working so I had to walk down 3 flights with a bad knee, the shower was slippery, there was only one key, the staff were disinterested, the place is very old and something, maybe the pipes, groaned all night.
Very good place! Clean, close to transport, a lot of restaurants around, market is just around the corner. If you are planning to explore Paris this is your resting point.
Clean, stylish, comfortable, good sized room
