Ibis Styles Paris Place d'Italie - Butte Aux Cailles

They let me jet ski in the Olympic swimming overseeing Paris ?

The staff were friendly and really did try to make us comfortable. We liked the location away from the hustle of Paris in a more residential neighorhood, we never felt unsafe there or saw any crime. We found a lovely cafe (Chouchou) close by that we visited multiple times, it had options for picky kids and adults with wider palates.

We were there in a heat wave, the AC couldn't keep up. The temp in the room was 84F (29C, see pic no exaggeration) in the afternoon. And once you added 4 people to the room once the sun went down the temps didn't improve. All the family size rooms were on one side of the building and got full afternoon sun with only drapes no shutters. The staff did provide fans but our sleep was horrible until the heat wave broke. We did open the windows once the sun went down but then my allergies acted up in the morning pollen.Yes we are are Americans and we know we can't expect US levels of AC, but 29C isn't acceptable.

The restroom too small

The free croissants in the lobby, the games downstairs to play, a big room for Paris, the tv and desk in the room is nice. The location is great with lots to do around.

There is no fridge in the room, makes it hard to have takeout, the bathroom is small, but you’ll be able to get in and out fine.

The location was great, close to subway, restaurants, supermarket. The hotel looked funkyfresh, it had an elevator, good breakfast from an early hour.

Pillows are too soft. Room isn’t very soundproof.

Breakfast could be better (no vegetables, barely any fruits), but overall it was fine.

The room was on the small side but had everything I needed and was spotless. Breakfast was lovely, in particular if you prefer a sweet one. Plenty of savoury options as well.

Staff could have been a bit more attentive but overall everybody was very polite.

The pillows were not the best and the shower leaked a lot of water.

Good value for money, spacious room, good location.

The combined reception and restaurant areas was quite ugly compared to other Ibis Styles, and the floors had not been clearly not been cleaned since the breakfast. Buffet a bit messy and smaller choice compared to other Ibis hotels. Coffee not so good.

1. Valerie was such a kind and caring host. 2. The room. Valerie gave us was lovely and pretty big by Paris standards. 3. The extra sofa bed was awesome. 4. The breakfast was great with everything we needed. 5. They had all day complimentary hot drinks that were such a comfort. 6. The hotel is aesthetically quite pleasing too.7. Overall, the place is quite well run and organized. 8. Located in a quiet street of Paris (22 Rue Barrault), we slept soundly after our day long excursions of Paris, everyday. 9. The hotel is so close to three metro stations - Corvisart, Place de Italie and Glacerie. It was amazing. 10. A boulangerie right around the corner, a pharmacie a couple of minutes walk away and several good restaurants around.

There was really nothing that I didn't like. I would stay at Ibis Styles Paris - Place De Italie again in a heartbeat! Great value for money!

I really like this hotel! The bed was comfortable. The view was good. Quiet street. The nice thing about the breakfast they have boiler for the eggs so you cook the eggs by yourself. There was nice green market every morning so you can get any food you need. The metro station really 1 min walk from the door of the hotel.

Amazing little gem! Close to metro station, clean room&bathroom and friendly staff! Good breakfast highly recommend to include it in your package! Coffee machine and croissants for free whole day long! Free wifi as well with very good connection! We’ll be coming here again for sure! Merci ?
