Timhotel Palais Royal

The hotel was in a great location with friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean, comfortable bed and the AC worked great (i like it cold).

The location is great; just a few minutes walk to Palais Royal, Jarden Tuiliers and Louvre Museum. The front office was very quick; my check-in and check-out was in minutes.

The room was very small and that is all I can mention… but which is very usual in downtown Paris.

No outlets at the bedside, very thin walls, no refill of coffee and tea, no one with keys at night, only one blanket for double bed

This hotel is a scam

The hotel room is nothing what you would imagine when booking. I believe the room pictures they have on booking websites do not exist. The room I booked was the double comfort room, and the room I got was this (pictures attached). When asked what happened to the original room that I booked was told they supposedly sold out and proceeded to tell me that it’s better than sleeping in the street, disregarded the whole conversation and went out to smoke…

Everything was absolutely perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful with all your needs. Walking distance to a variety of cafes and to the metro station. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back. Thank you for your hospitality.

The location is easy to reach from the metro and provides reasonable comfort. I checked in late and everything was prepared for me. The breakfast was good and offered me a nice welcome to Paris with croissants and other local food.

Sound isolation in the room was not great, since both the room door as well as the windows let a lot of noise through from the outside into the room. As a tall person the shower was a bit tight, but that's definitely a special problem for myself.

This is the first time (and I stay in hotels very often) that I have been so disappointed by a hotel.1.The rooms were so noisy that it was impossible to sleep after 6:00 a.m. You could hear everything that was happening in the hallway.2.I don’t understand why a hotel would be locked, so that you can only enter the lobby by ringing a bell and then still be kept waiting — especially at 11:00 a.m. on a Saturday.3.There was no power outlet next to the bed.Paying over €240 per night for this is unacceptable.

Shower was a bit small as my partner is 6ft 3 making it a bit of a squeeze.

Location and reception is nice. Beds are comfortable.

Had a room at top floor, shower pressure was low, lighting was dark, power was provided only with regular plug and no USB. Generally a dated property.

The staff provided excellent service and even offered an adapter.

The room is extremely small with basically no amenities. The shower room does not even have a proper door. Troom is noisy facing the street despite having asked for a quieter room facing away from street, but request not taken seriously. The breakfast was minimal for a hefty price of 15euros. Scrambled eggs and hot items not refilled.

The room had great balcony and the neighbourhood was very clean and nice and it is just 15 minutes walk from Louvre. The room is spacious, although the bathroom is small, it is usual for the Paris standards. It was fully functional and we had all we needed. There is also an iron you can borrow from the hotel for clothes. Breakfast had a lot of nice options.

An amazing location. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is basic but clean. Peter on reception is charming and an extremely valuable young man!! It’s surrounded by cafes and restaurants plus beautiful shops.

The rooms are small but your in the centre of Paris 10 minutes to the Louvre.

The breakfast is until 10.30 but it was cleared exactly at that time and not replenished from 10am. Different to home so not their fault!
