Rooms are a little small
The staff were extremely helpful and kind. Excellent Service!
We loved the street it was located on. It had many places to eat and shops. We also loved the staff and how friendly they were. The rooms were quaint and clean.
There was work being done on my floor and I wasn’t warned about it.
Location & friendly staff
Thread bare carpeting, dark hallways, loose toilet seat lid & broken lamp in room 22.
The location was centralized and provided easy access to the metro line.
Renovation ongoing during our stay. Elevator access was limited.
The location is perfect, only 3 minutes walk from the subway and lots of restaurant café nearby. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.
Excellent location. Pleasant staff. The small bar was a nice spot to wind down with a beer at the end of a long day. Bed was comfy and plenty of pillows.
Room pretty small and dark (which is expected for central Paris and fine for a one night stopover).
Location is fantastic, hotel is cute and comfortable even if the rooms are small. That's very typical for Paris, so ok.
My only issue was that we were on the 2nd floor and the street noise was pretty loud on the weekend.
Bed comfortable and room a good size
No shampoo, conditioner or body lotion
It has been the same for the last 10-15 years that we have stayed there. It is well located so it is easy to walk most anywhere. The staff is great.
It is beginning to get run down and needs a facelift without ruining the culture. Also the breakfast was stale and has not taste.
location
In the temperature of nearly 40 degrees, the room had no air conditioning, was very hot, and had a damp and musty smell, which kept us awake until the early morning. The most unacceptable thing was the attitude of the front desk, she lied. When we checked in, she said we had got a free upgrade to a better room. We went to the room and it was horrible, hot and unbearable. When I told her it was hot and had no air conditioning, to my surprise, she said she knew! She said a technician supposed to come to fix it, but he never showed up. She said the air conditioning was broken in this room only. I asked to move to another room, and she said it was full and there were no rooms available. But I saw at least two groups of guests checked in after us and got rooms. We were not walk-in guests, we had booked the room two weeks ago. Why were we given a room like this and a free upgrade? What a travesty! I told her twice that the room was too hot to live in and asked her to go to the room to experience it herself and see how uncomfortable it was and find a way to help, but she sat there motionless, shrugged and said there was nothing she could do. Then she said that it was not just our room that had the air conditioner broken, but that several other rooms had the same problem, but people put up with it and stayed there! She meant that we should accept it and put up with it! It was unbelievable that a hotel employee could say such things! During our 15-day trip to France, we stayed in 5 hotels in Paris and some towns in the south, and this hotel was the worst! Although they were all 3-star hotels, this one was the worst! The actual room was completely different from the photos on the hotel website, not only was it old and small, but the damp and moldy smell was very strong and unpleasant. The attitude of the front desk staff was especially unacceptable.
Location is great. Tourist must sees. Restaurants Bars etc.
Very expensive for a tiny room and even smaller shower. Pillows were pretty bad. Average cleanliness at best.
My mother and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was in a fantastic location. We had everything we needed and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We would absolutely stay here again.
Perfect location and very friendly and helpful staff!
Room was small but surprisingly large bathroom, however we were comfortable
Very small room but a true Parisian experience. Nice breakfast buffet, and great location I had everything I needed to be comfortable.
Staff were so polite and accommodating during our stay. Free water machines with ice sparkling and plain water available. bedroom was equipped with mini bar fridge freezer.
Hair dryer could have been more powerful but was fine.
Good location
Dirt and stamps in the bathroom.Noise not well isolated, heard others until 1 am.
Old world elegance in a central location in St Germain.Friendly customer service.Loads of great dining options in your doorstep.
Nothing to dislike. Highly recommend this hotel for a special stay in Paris.
