Hotel La Villa Saint Germain Des Prés

Staff was great; they made several dinner reservations for us; room was decorated beautifully, as well as the hotel itself. Location was fabulous--right in the. Idle of everything on the left bank and near St. Germaine metro.

Bathroom: in an effort to conserve water (I guess) there is no shower head, but rather, a wand at waist level. I had a hard time washing hair and resorted to taking baths, even though I'm not a bath taker.! Also, better blow dryers need to be provided.

Like many hotels in Paris rooms are a bit small

Newly renovated chic decor, and every amenity in heart of prettiest street of St germain. Easily accessed by foot, car, train, and even a ferry. Blocks away from the seine river. Staff was more than friendly and helpful

The location was fabulous! Our suite was perfect for our group of 4 women. The breakfast was delicious and the baked goods were made by a lovely woman who works at the hotel. Our evening bartender, Olivier, was an absolute gem. He was helpful with recommendations and just wonderful to talk to. The desk staff was kind and attentive and made sure we were comfortable and happy. It was a fabulous experience and I will absolutely stay here again.

Location. And the night manager was lovely.

The staff wasn't responsive to emails pre arrival, leaving our request for a roll away unanswered. We had to wait an hour upon arrival for the night manager to set it up himself, as all housekeeping had left. In the morning, breakfast was very expensive for what it was, and no one helped us with our bags when we were leaving.

They are really trying hard. The thickest towels, loveliest linen, outstanding service.

Elegantly decorated and everything was highest quality - from the bed to the hairdryer. Also AC and soundproofing were incredible!

It was impossible (for me) to take a shower without getting the entirety of the bathroom floor wet.

This is rather a small comment, cannot say "I did not like". I would just recommend to replace the "Steamone" equipment by regular iron. Yes it looks fancy, like all other amenities in the room, but just does not live up to expectation. It takes ages, what you could do in minutes with an iron.

Excellent location! This property provides two bedroom suites which was ideal for our situation traveling with a child.

The bedrooms and the master bathroom were a bit on the small side. The awkward ceiling in the master bath and angle in the shower made it a little difficult to get comfortable.

It’s very comfortable. Staffs are all very nice. Facilities in the room are nice brand and easy to use.

I like everything: location, design, attention to the details, lovely friendly stuff, facilities, breakfast, high quality of toiletries and textile. Honestly, I would not change nothing,Everything just perfect (one tiny suggestion: replace toothbrush))

The staff were professional, friendly, welcoming, well trained and helpful in answering all questions including location of restaurants, food markers, and provided guidance on how to get to landmark locations. The room was very nice and quiet with a comfortable bed. The location of the hotel was in a prime area with multiple places to eat and just a short walking distance to the Seine River and the Notre Dame cathedral. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The price, but it’s Paris. Be prepared to pay a hefty price for a hotel to stay in an upscale location.

Here, you get privacy, attention to detail, and a personal experience without any of the pretense or unnecessary extravagance.We truly loved our stay and appreciated the entire team for going out of their way to make our time in Paris unforgettable.
