Hotel Duminy Vendome

Location.

Deceiving descriptions. Made it seem breakfast was included. Imagine our surprise at an almost $300 addition charge upon checkout. When airport shuttle is listed, it is generally included. Not here. $95. Hotel was being painted while we were there.

Staff were all pleasant. Also, the hotel was quiet, which was good, and its location was fine. Breakfast was also good, and free internet was available in the room and in public areas.

The bathroom shower head DOES NOT sit properly, thereby constantly flipping and falling off its holder, splashing water everywhere. It would be nice for tea & coffee in reception be available up to late at night. More English tv stations also.

The property was beautiful and very very clean. It was also a very convenient location with easy access to everything we wanted to do. Most within walking distance.

Would not change a thing.

Good Location, Very clean and friendly Staff

Room size and heating system.

Central location, good area, felt safe. The hotel staff went above and beyond to help. The room was clean with air conditioning and opening windows. Bathroom was spotless.

My only small recommendation would be to have an extractor fan in the bathroom. Other than this, no issues at all.

Rooms are a bit small.

Stayed in room 502. Clean, modern decorated, decent size room. Very good water pressure in the shower (not always the case in Paris hotels). Amenities such as nespresso machine. Good internet speed. Location. Nice breakfast. Automatic doors at the entrance.

Overall a good stay and no complaints. But just a few things I wish were different: The breakfast room in the basement with no windows is a tad depressing (though staff there is good and attentive). Only one body towel (two would be good). Slippers and a shoehorn would come in handy as well. A bottle of water was good, two would be better.

The hotel boasts an excellent location next to the Louvre, with easy access to major attractions such as the Opera House and Eiffel Tower. From booking onward, the staff make a strong effort to accommodate guest requests, including early check-in, airport transfers, in-room arrangements, and daily taxi service (additional fees may apply). The newly renovated property is exceptionally clean and quiet, with daily housekeeping and bathroom amenities available upon request at the front desk. Breakfast is plentiful and available for an extra charge. Front desk staff speak English.

The only minor drawback is the compact room size (approximately 15 m²).

Lack of evening snacks after hours, insufficient tea / coffee pods, lack of fresh milk

The hotel enjoys a great location and is beautifully renovated, offering a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. Breakfast was good.

Despite the great location and renovated property, the stay was not 100% enjoyable. Housekeeping staff frequently used guest elevators with cleaning supplies, a deposit was required at check-in, and I was charged at checkout for takeaway water I requested. Given the price, the service was not in line with a hotel of this standard.

The Carpeting in the bedrooms

Location was perfect.

The hotel is not sound proof and as a result there is a lot of noise from doors opening and closing constantly. Also massive construction works opposite the hotel causes enormous disruption very early in the morning

The location, it’s comfortable, clean and friendly.

Location is really central, many top sites on walking distance, very safe neighbourhood. Breakfast was very good.

Second time staying at Hotel Duminy-Vendome and it was equally reliable as the first time - very central location within walking distance to shops/restaurants/local attractions, well-maintained compound/rooms, good breakfast spread, and very helpful staff (especially those on day shift who assisted with requests promptly).

Night shift staff was super unhelpful - refused to assist with simple asks like for extra towels or more bottled water.Room could do with more storage areas, e.g. insertion of more wall hooks.

Very central the location is great. It’s also spotlessly clean and lovely staff. Unfortunately we had a room on the 1st floor above the main entrance so it was very noisy and the aircon/ water pipes were noisy too. But the hotel decor is nice, the staff very friendly and everywhere super clean.

Need to check on there water pipes/ air con in some rooms.

Rooms are very small and The carpets create a lot of dust and it's aggravating my allergies.
