    Pros +

    • The location was great!
    • I managed to sleep in spite of my fears.
    • Location was great, near metro, restaurants, and store . Manager was very helpful and friendly.

    Cons -

    • Impossible parking. No help with parking. Super small room. This is a 2* hotel. Not 4*
    • There were multiple fire alarms that went off on different nights. One night we had to leave our rooms three times. The staff said a guest kept smoking in his room. Well... kick out that guest because he is disturbing the other guests.
    • I did not like the location, the size of the tiny room, the tiny bathroom, the dingy lobby, stairwell and that the bedroom windows did not latch closed.

Location was great, near metro, restaurants, and store . Manager was very helpful and friendly.

Other staff members didn't speak English well. Several mistakes were made, including another guest being given our room at 2:00 in the morning.

    Location.

Very disappointing stay – I truly regret booking this hotel. They never replied to my messages on Booking, which already gave a bad first impression. The facilities look nice only in the photos — clearly taken right after renovation and never updated since. In reality, everything feels worn out and poorly maintained.Breakfast was a big letdown: the same limited options every day, no vegetables, and items constantly missing without being refilled. It also didn’t feel hygienic — the same staff serving breakfast were later seen cleaning the reception floors.Towels were stained, and if you have dry skin, definitely bring your own lotion. They provide only one tiny bottle, and even after requesting more, nothing was replaced. The room was dark, dusty, and far from the comfort you’d expect from a four-star hotel. Honestly, I don’t understand how it keeps that rating — it feels more like a one-star property pretending to be something it’s not

The bed was super comfortable and the hotel was on a quiet street so I slept very well! I loved the decor and the hotel was in a great location. 5 mins walk from the metro stop and great restaurants.

When I first arrived, my room had an overpowering smell of sewage. I reported this to reception, but the manager was very dismissive and told me nothing could be done as the hotel was fully booked. On top of this, the bathroom walls had brown smears on them when I checked in, which was extremely unhygienic.During my stay, I was not offered any apology or compensation for these issues. On the second night, I requested additional body moisturiser to be sent to my room, but the night manager arrived personally and very rudely told me they do not offer room service, making me feel like an inconvenience. For a four-star hotel charging over £270 per night, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, customer service, and overall experience. Unfortunately, I was left very disappointed with both the facilities and the way I was treated.

The staff was friendly. The location was nice, very accessible by walking and/or public transport.

The breakfast was very poor, which I wasn't expecting from a 4-star hotel. It had no vegetables or leafy greens; it mostly contained eggs (boiled and omelet), cheese, and sausages. As for dessert, some American pancakes, which were dry and crumbly, and a basket with other pastries (which I haven't tried).

Location was fine, close to everywhere and Metro station. Room size a bit small. Breakfast was a kind of very good buffet.

Breakfast room could be on 1st floor instead of basement.

Interesting setup with themed rooms, very well kept given the amount of plants

When we request a taxi to be booked at the day of our departure, front desk arrange the taxi service. However, it was not a regular taxi provider, router a gentleman from Bangladesh in what look like a personal car. We timed our departure to catch the Eurostar so I had no time to be looking for another service. He also requested 35 pounds as a payment and after asking us if we’re going to pay card or cash, he told us he’s going to drop us off by the cash machine as he only wanted cash. We negotiate to give him 20 pounds and the rest of the payment in euros. The driver was nice and pleasant but when we checked the price by Uber, it was quoting us only 15 pounds.

Location is so good walking distance to many things you can do around and even for transportation.Room is clean and the hotel is renovated.

The small room is too small.

    location and staff were great

The attitude of the breakfast staff, the lady only...the man was great and very professional

Was lovely , so modern and clean ! We absolutely loved it and it is situated at the best place in Paris for cleanliness and security as some parts of Paris arn't.

We did book a small double room however we didn't expect the bed to be right by the door when you open it , it was quite small but this wasn't their fault as we booked it but I think as a customer you wouldn't expect it to be so tight .

Very friendly staff..Amazing location Clean rooms

The rooms are exactly as they are advertised. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had everything we needed for our two nights stay in Paris. Location great!

    Nothing not to like.

    Location

No elevator, no air-con, communal corridors untidy, minimal space to put luggage and possessions, no iron, no fridge

    Bed bugs

Warning: bed bugs. When we checked in to the hotel we found spilled make up on the floor under the bed. We asked to have it cleaned. When we headed out we reminded reception and they said cleaning staff left and they couldn't help us. Later we realized it was on other parts of the floor too and it got on the sheets. The duvet had previously also gotten stains do we asked for a new one. When we opened the new duvet to make the bed we found a bed bug in it. We immedeately left and checked out. The hotel say they couldn't find anything, so they did likely not do anything about it. They've also refused to give us a refund.

Unfortunately the lift was broken and we were on the fifth floor so rather annoying especially with luggage and children
