Waldorf Montparnasse

Close proximity to restaurants and Montparnasse station.

The room was very basic. Somewhat overpriced for the lack of amenities and simple decor.

Location to the train station was perfect. Staff at the front desk was the most helpful person we encountered during our three weeks of travel. She helped us navigate COVID testing, offered recommendations for dining and arranged cabs.

Typical of Paris, the room was small and noise was an issue.

What wasn't there to like about this hotel and our stay! Outstanding staff, comfortable bed, clean and spacious by European standards. Excellent access to Metro, Rail and buses, restaurants and bakeries.

I couldn't figure out how to turn on the AC (instructions in English would have been helpful.) Also too many consumables for Pilar jade stocked in the in-room refrigerator for my taste. I would rather have cold storage capacity.

It had air conditioning, was very close to the train and metro stations, and the staff was excellent!

Welcoming and helpful staff in the perfect location just a small walk from la Gare Montparnasse and surrounded by restaurants and bars. The room was bright and airy with a super comfy bed and spacious bathroom. We loved the lounge with its honesty wine bar!

Location was excellent, lots of bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Close to the metro and only a short trip to all the main attractions. Room was modern and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful

The bed was quite small and not very comfortable. There was a lot of noise transmission from the rooms next door and above.

Excellent location! The hotel is just steps away from the Montparnasse train station and metro, with lots of cafés and restaurants nearby. Everything was very clean, and the bed was comfortable.

If the room had been a little bigger, the experience would have been excellent

Very poor sound insulation, we could hear people's conversation clearly from the room next to us and someone's music from the other side of us. We only stayed one night.

The hotel is very close to the train station and the metro. It's also in an area with many restaurants and so close to a shopping mall. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The room was a bit with old furniture. Maybe a small remodel to the rooms would be beneficial.

Booked 2 rooms, 1 located on ground floor the other on the 3rd floor. Assumed the 2 rooms would have been located close together. My room was located to the front of the hotel, it was very difficult to get to sleep with the noise from revellers on the street.
