Hotel Splendide Royal Paris - Relais & Châteaux

It is the smallest hotel in Paris. Personal service, great breakfast.

The only negative was that there were no English language news channels. No CNN, no Fox News. They had BBC but it was game shows and cooking, not news. They didn't have France 24 in French or English.

Some of the staff were snobby, the breakfast was laughable, I booked a different room than the one I was given

I want to start by saying that I have stayed at this hotel several times before and was always satisfied.Unfortunately, this time I was very unlucky — I lost more than €3,000 during my stay.I had several €100 banknotes kept in different wallets and in different pockets of my backpack.I left the backpack with all the cash in my room when I went out for a day walk in Paris.When I came back, I packed my things and went to sleep. The next morning, at the airport, while shopping at duty-free, I noticed that there was much less money in one of my wallets. I checked the other one — and a large amount was missing there as well.In total, about €3,000 had disappeared.I am absolutely sure that this incident happened in the hotel, as all the cash was left in my room in separate wallets and compartments of my backpack and I check the amount before close the backpack. It should be easy for the staff to check the security cameras to see who entered my room.Please be careful and keep your valuables safe.

I loved the everything. The quality of the staff was exceptional. They were kind, extremely helpful and just wonderful people. They went out of their ay to make everything perfect. The breakfast was delicious, with a very diverse selection. The restaurant was top notch. The sommelier was a joy in explaining the wines in the pairing. There was so much passion in his knowledge and excitement of wine and food. The location was the best. Safe and quiet and close to the Champs-Elysee. The room was beautiful with so many amenities. It was perfection!We had an issue with forgetting something in our rental car we had returned that morning in Dijon. They were going to send it to us but it had to be done with a prepaid envelope sent to the rental company. When we got to the hotel, the gentleman at the front desk was just as confused as we were as to why they needed it done this way. He called them for us and got the correct information. He wrote down the instructions in french for what we needed to do at the post office. It really was above and beyond to help us. Everything went smoothly at the post office because of the help. I forget the name of the gentleman who helped us, but he was working on Wednesday October 16 in the late morning. Also, a special mention to Maria and Felice who were wonderful to talk each day.

The staff was greatWe always stay in five star suites this was average, which means it was terrificOn same street as the president’s quarters meant a lot of security very safe

Several doors stuck at the bottom so bad you couldn’t close them also had on and off issues controlling the hot water

The hotel was very well located and the staff were amazing.

The room is tired and due for a makeover. The WIFI was very poor and the carpets appeared warn. The most disappointing thing was we noticed on the last day that bed linen was soiled with blood and the the cover was not freshly washed.

LIKED EVERYTHING in the hotel, near main gardens but most all blocked off for the olympics

around the corner from many embassies and presidential palace so numerous blocked off streets and police....no nearby cafes etc.

The location was perfect…very safe and accessible. The staff was amazing…helpful, friendly and very accommodating . The breakfast was wonderful… fresh, abundant and delicious. The room was a home away from home… spacious, comfortable and very clean. Tosca, which is fine dining with superb food, excellent service and a comfortable atmosphere is located right on the premises.

Everything was perfect.

The property was presentable and clean. Personnel were extremely friendly and very polite. Housekeeping did an outstanding job of cleaning our room everyday.

The things that we like the most about the property the most were the politeness of the staff and how clean the place was.

An exceptional property in the heart of Paris, matched by friendly, intentive staff. The room was large and furnished with grace.

Very comfortable, clean and the staff were lovely and helpful

Beautiful room it had everything and it was all just so.

Breakfast was a bit chaotic and we did not quite get what we ordered
