Hotel Hor Les Lumieres

It was clean and the staff were very generous.

The breakfast was expensive for 14 euros and what was offered. The eggs and meat were often cold or didn't appear fresh. I reserved a twin room, and it's a bit strange how close the beds are to one another (I was staying with a friend).

Rooms were well kept.The location was perfect for where needed to be. Cool restaurants and food options in the location. The day and night staff were great, friendly and accommodating.

The breakfast was limited and just ok.

I love the neighborhood where there are a lot of eateries and boulangeries. The location is also central to metro and bus. But you can walk to Le marais in 15-20 minutes depending where guy want to go

The room is on the smaller side but it is clean. And the price is affordable

Excellent hotel with good service, staff and good access. The rooms are larger than most Paris hotels and cleanliness met our expectations. There is a good selection of excellent hotels and boulangeries nearby. Access to hotel is very good as well with bus and metro within walking distance. Overall, a very pleasant stay with good Parisian memories.

Bathroom very very small, the door not closing soundproof, the light getting to bedroom from the bathroom.

Not many facilities. Smoke Alarm went off at 6am because owner burnt some bacon in the kitchen. Didn’t even apologize to guests but blamed it on the alarm. Next day AC stopped working for a while. Lower floors have rooms which get noise from the street.

The place matched the description. It is very centrally located in place surrounded by many restaurants and shops yet very quiet and great to stay in. The room is comfortable and got all what you need. The staff are extremely friendly.

In the bathroom there was a bathtub, but no shower curtain. So a bit wet on the floor after shower, but no big harm. Would have wished more charging stations near bed, for phone.

No space to open big luggage

The location was wonderful. Easy access to three metro stops, lots of restaurants, market and Boulangerie nearby. Staff was very helpful. The windows are well insulated and it was quiet for sleeping.

This is a small thing but a larger trash bucket would be helpful. The one in the toilet was very tiny.

Good location, near metro stations. Bustling local area without being too noisy on the hotel street. Bakery just round the corner so we bought breakfast from there every morning instead of paying for the hotel breakfast. Really friendly staff. Clean room. Comfy bed, good pillows. Good WIFI. Lift. Kettle & fridge so us we could make a cup of tea in the morning! This is the second time I've stayed and I would come again.

No shower screen / shower curtain so had to squat down in the bath with the shower head to stop it making the whole bathroom wet, but apparently that's not unusual in France. It wouldn't put me off coming again though.

the hotel rooms are clean and provide enough comfort. However, the evening receptionist (Ibrahim) was a bit scary, considering that hotel receptions are the showcase of the hotel, I have to say that he did not look good. We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that.

Bedroom and bathroom very small, walls thin, corridors and decor made it seem like a school dormitory.

It was located in a very convenient location in downtown Paris.There were many restaurants and cafes in the area, so we had a comfortable stay.The hotel staff were earnest and very helpful.

The dryer is an old type that blows hot air from a thick hose, but the airflow is very weak.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was comfortable and clean, but the real highlight was the outstanding service. Every single staff member we encountered was professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful. The concierge went above and beyond with recommendations, check-in/out was smooth, and any request we had was met immediately and efficiently. It's rare to find such consistently excellent service, and it truly made our Parisian experience relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone who values feeling well taken care of during their travels.
