Cons -
- No guests allowed, have to leave key at front desk when leaving, extra charge for breakfast
- Could use bleach to get rid of mould in bathroom - would make a lot of difference. Small touch’s to communal area so it looks more professional would help. Tiny bathroom, was really claustrophobic.

Good Location
Room & bathroom is extremely small. AC didn't work properly on the first day but they fixed it later.
The location is close to the metro and restaurants.
My single room at the top of the building is so small, and the air conditioner kept making noise, which disturbed my sleep at night.
Clean, well maintained older hotel with views of Sacre Coeur and Eiffel Tower in the distance
Tiny lift but grateful there was one & it worked really well
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Paris. The location is excellent just steps from Anvers metro station and within walking distance of the beautiful Sacré-Cœur Cathedral. It made getting around the city very easy.A special thank you to the receptionists, who were absolutely amazing and very helpful throughout my stay. They were always kind, welcoming, and ready to assist with anything I needed.I truly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris.
Staff at this property were excellent Room size was goodRoom was cleanBreakfast was sufficient.
The bathroom damp smell was unbearable, we couldn’t have the door open, it was awful.I actually couldn’t stand going in there.
The location was remarkable on the Place D'Anvers. The metro is right there. There is a lovely outdoor market on Friday almost next door. It is a classic little no frills French hotel and there, just below Sacré Cœur it is a little touristy, but the rooms are large enough and the breakfast is a good value served up by ladies that make you feel you are in your mother's kitchen. I left some clothing items there after a two day stay and they retrieved them and sent them to me! I plan to stay there in February.
Location is amazing. 1mins to the metro station. Staffs are so kind.
No coffee machine in the room. The room was very cold.
The staff was very kind and friendly.I arrived at the hotel early in the morning, even though check-in was only in the afternoon. The woman at the reception and the housekeeping staff made an exception and prepared my room first, so I could check in right after it was cleaned. I really appreciated their kindness and effort! And the room that I got… wow! I could even see the Eiffel Tower in the distance! The value was great too. Considering the location and the fact that it was during Paris Fashion Week, the price was very reasonable.
It was a little noisy though — I could hear doors opening and closing, which woke me up in the morning. I probably should have used the earplugs they kindly provide as an amenity next to the bed.
Location
Room tiny- not like photos! Black mould round seals in shower, generally in poor condition. Bed very uncomfortable. Tiny thin towels.
We needed a last minute extra night due to a stuff up with the rental car, so pickings were slim. On the positive, the friendly staff and convenient location were a winner. However, tiny room and ensuite. Plastic/rubber mattress protector. Sheets didn't fit. TV didn't work. Paris is expensive, but it was a bit rich. We put it down to part of the adventure.
Location was excellent, view from the room was amazing, and the arrangement of the room was just what we were looking for (family size room with 1 bigger bed and 2 smaller).
We had an odd interaction the first morning. At check in we were told breakfast went until 9 am and the sign at the desk said 9 am but the employee at the desk told us it stopped at 8. So that was a bit weird, and we decided not to get breakfast at the hotel during our stay.
VERY good value for a good and safe location in Paris. Just 10-15min walk to Sacre Couer, 2 metro lines near the hotel, exit of one of which is directly facing the hotel and the other is line 4 that served me well last 18 Sept during a big strike and still got me to line 14 to Orly. My room was small as expected but I have a nice view and the facilities are quite good for that small a room. It has everything I needed.
Bit stuffy to be honest although it’s fall and I was already not feeling well going into Paris. Need to leave key with reception before going out - I didn’t find it too bad and encountered no issue at all getting key upon return at hotel, but quite weird and not what I prefer.
The hotel is in a great location, close to Sacre Coeur, Gare du Nord, and Metro and bus stops. The room was clean, comfortable and warm, and with a 24 hour reception that took your room key when you left, I felt safe as a solo traveller. The staff were lovely and helpful, and a basic, but nice continental breakfast was available for an extra fiver a day. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in the Montmartre area, who doesn't want to pay a fortune for accommodation.
Being a 2 star hotel, the facilities are quite basic, as you might expect. It's also located on a busy road, and so if you don't shut the windows/balcony door at night, it can be noisy. There is also not much in the way of soundproofing, so noise from other guests in the hotel can be heard, at times. The double room I booked was fine size-wise for me, as a solo traveller, but I'm not sure would be comfortably big enough for a couple. That said, I would still recommend this hotel as good value for money, considering it is Paris.
This is a really great hotel, the quality to price ratio is excellent. The space around all areas is tight but not bothersome at all. The rooms were clean and housekeeping was done every day except when we requested not to. The bathroom was fully functional, the shower and toilet worked properly, spotlessly clean and stocked with basic amenities; towels were changed every day. It has a TV, aircon, a safebox, minibar and a heater. The breakfast is basic but good value for around 6€ you get bread, butter, cheese, juice, coffee, yogurt and compote. The staff is incredibly friendly, competent and attentive; the reception is manned 24/7. It is located near the Anvers metro station and very close to several bus stops. It is walking distance to Sacre Coeur; the area is a bit sketchy at night but keep your wits about you and it will feel safe. There are many restaurants and grocery shops around as well as souvenir places to look at.
The facilities are a bit older in appearance but fully functional; if you have any issues the staff will readily help.
Currently trying to erase this experience from my memory.
We were allocated room 208.Bathroom not functional. When you sit on the toilet you have to hunch over so you don't hit your head on the sink. The door doesn't close properly so when you sit on the toilet it springs open for everyone in your room to see. When you get out of the shower there is no turning room at all so you have to get changed by your bed. When we turned the air conditioning on it released a pungent odour.Bed mattresses were from the 80's and it had a musty smell. We left and never returned two nights into a three-night stay.Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.
Location near Metro station and shops. Friendly staff. Room tidied each day. Lift for taking luggage up and down. Old features such as stairs and windows.
Street was quite noisy at night. People on street could be heard talking loudly. Could hear cars etc beeping their horns and sirens. People in rooms above could be heard walking around.
Great access to the Metro. The Anvers stop on line 2 is diagonal across the street. If you cross the boulevard and go up a couple of blocks the Montmarte funiculaire is to the left. This takes you right up to Sacre Couer. If you go to the right, there are a bunch of fabric stores, include Marche St. Pierre, a sewist's dream.I felt safe inside the hotel, but it is just down from the Moulin Rouge and there are tons of sex shops and stuff (kinda reminded me of Times Square in the old days). Maje note if that sort of thing bothers you.The staff was awesome, very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. It's more of a basic room, but has all the essentials. I would say if you are out and about and just want a place to sleep, this is perfect. If you like to lounge in a nice room in between your sightseeing, it's probably not ideal. The hotel staff arranged for my shuttle ride back to the airport, which was nice.
It's on a very busy street, so there is a LOT of outside noise. If you are looking for a quieter experience, this is probably not your place.
It was expensive for what we got. Very tiny room, moldy ceiling in bathroom, on a noisy street. We were woken up by the smell of cigarette smoke coming from the room next to us. Reception came to assess and agreed it was really bad but said there’s nothing they can do about it. Very unfortunate that they don’t enforce their own rules. The street was too noisy and it was too cold out to open the windows at that time of night.
