Hotel Paris Bruxelles

Excellent and helpful staff. Key location in the Marais, very close to a metro station. Basic, but clean room. This is Paris---are you going to stay in your room or go out and explore? This hotel has everything you need and nothing that you don't.

The staff were friendly, welcoming, had clean towels and the bed was made The hotel was near good locations and near the metro which was convenient.

The hotel was not like the photos. We were neglected in knowing about a construction that was being done to the hotel. Our room was so hot, even after turning the heating off and with a fan and windows open, it still felt like an oven. The carpet was so bad, you could see the thick dust under the radiator.There isn't enough room to hold your luggage.When plugging things in and out, I was not expecting the socket to come out with me.The bathroom, where do you even start on that. It felt claustrophobic for one. The lighting was poor especially with only one working light. There was an obscene amount of mould that made us feel ill. There was sellotape on one of the pipes in the bathroom. Pretty sure that is not safe.The room had a strong smell of cigarettes.We were near the top of the hotel and needed to use the lift. The lift was so small, not even sure how 3 people can "allegedly" fit in there, not to mention how it wasn't working on multiple times.At times, there were other guests, who were not considerate in noise levels.

Good location, the room was clean. The staff was very helpful. The bed was comfortable.

There could be better lighting in the room and it could be a little bigger.

Breakfast room was closed - a building site.

Building work ongoing outside and inside hotel. Rooms run down. Black mould all over bathroom ceiling. Photos on booking.com more than misleading.

We are happy with our stay at this hotel. All areas were clean and well maintained. The staff were attentive, friendly and always ready to help. Special thanks to Yanne for his professionalism, attentiveness, responsiveness, and great help during our stay. We highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to return again.

Location . Close to metro stations and walking distance to major attractions

Property was very old, shower was incredibly small with black mould in shower cubicle and shower tap was very hot while in use. Carpet was dirty and stained and room was stuffy. Door didn’t close properly

The location is perfect. 20 minutes walk from Gare du Nord and just by Metro with multiple routes.

We had to ask for a kettle, but this was then provided.

Loacation and bed

Bathroom was quite smaller and hotel is well for the long stay. 2 nights are ideal.

It is nice that they have an elevator.

- The rooms do NOT look like they look in the photos AT all.- Our room had a bathroom - Which we later realised is not the case for all rooms. - Our room was pushed into a corner on the 1st floor between the kitchen, dining room and the room where they wash all linen. - The rooms do not look like they look in the photos.- The bedroom was not unclean, however, it was not in a great condition. - Staff attempted to get into our room when we were in there getting changed and kept banging on the door even after we told them we are in there. - Some of the guests thought our room was a bathroom.

Close to metro (3 mininutes walk), cafe, restaurant and grocery/ super market

Noisy, hearing people talking, siren, truck noise whole night ( may be because of strike at Place of Republic near by)

Good for the money clean a bit dated. Hey if you are just sleeping there no problem. Front desk people are nice and friendly

I loved how friendly the staff were and how they were always at reception 24-7. I booked a double bed room for me and my partner and got an extra single bed in the room which was really nice. The room was also very spacious no complaints. Also came with two fans which were needed as the room was very warm. Gorgeous windows looking out with standing mirror . GREAT location

The shower had LOTS of mold which was disgusting. Had very quick showers. They were nice and hot good temperature. No drawers to store clothes theres a wardrobe with 3 hangers and a small shelf above not enough.

Location and the hotel was constantly staffed at the front desk.

The ensuite stunk really bad and the room was not well maintained or decorated. There was a tiny fan which you had to leave the window open to draw the outside air inside, no fridge or kitchen facilities meant any perishable foods had to be thrown out and you could not keep drinks cold.

There is visible mould, the flooring is uneven, there is a strong unpleasant smell, and the property was not clean upon arrival.

The location in Paris was as expected and near la Place de la Republique.

The rooms we booked were for families, and we travelled with 5 pre-teen children, but the windows opened to low railings that are worn and appear close to detaching. The floors are uneven and the doors are incredibly difficult to open. The stairs had a sheer drop down and were protected by a low railing with gaps. Steps were sloped and worn. Facilities in the rooms are non-existent with out even coffee making facilities. There is no restaurant on premise. Decor is shabby. We were so disappointed and worried for our children that we checked out early. Naturally we were not offered any refund.
