Hôtel Ambassadeur

The location was great: it’s in a quieter, non-touristy area but very close to the metro, with lots of good restaurants nearby. We could also walk to Montmartre, which was a big plus. The staff were friendly and the room was decent. It could be a bit better in terms of maintenance, but overall it was very good value for the price we paid, especially for Paris. We didn’t try the breakfast, but it’s available if you want that option.

The soundproofing is really poor. The walls are very thin and you can hear pretty much everything from other rooms, which was genuinely annoying and made it hard to relax. It also created awkward situations: another room complained about noise from us even when we weren’t the ones making it. One night around 10 p.m. we were just talking on the phone in our room and they started knocking on the wall. Overall, the noise issue was the main downside. That said, considering the location and the price (especially for Paris), it still felt like a fair deal.

I was very disappointed with my stay. The facilities were in very poor condition — the room was not clean, had no view, and was extremely small. The bathroom didn’t have soap or any basic toiletries. There was no proper cleaning, no water,

-While I can understand not every 3-star hotel has a refrigerator, the room ought to have had an electric kettle at least.-The coffee at the breakfast section was machine coffee and fell below expectations.

Nice room, comfortable beds, nice view. Downstairs there is shared kitchen corner, unfortunately nobody told us about it and we revealed it a bit late, but this is convenient, as you can have water, tee, coffee there and also there is a fridge. Location is nice, you can get y foot to Sacre-Coeur, Galleries Lafayette, or catch metro.

Well run, with helpful staff, nice lounge with water and tea, great location close to Montmartre but away from tourist area.

Poor wifi, and our room didn’t have a view or much light. Next time I would request an upper floor room facing the street.

The photos online are completely misleading and do not reflect the actual condition of the facilities. This place urgently needs inspection by the health and sanitation authorities — we observed signs of mold, possible human contamination on the mattresses, and overall unsanitary conditions.We were a group of six with three rooms, and every single room was unacceptable: strong moldy odors, spider webs everywhere, and shockingly, one room didn’t even have a sink — something I’ve never encountered in all my years of traveling.We didn’t stay more than 20 minutes; it was so bad we immediately left and booked another hotel nearby. Avoid this place at all costs.

Not convenient to travel around. Far from center. But Paris is huge also.

The staff were fantastic and super accommodating. Location was good and about 20 minutes back into the city. Plenty of restaurants close by. Checkout was also easy.

Wifi was horrible and kept dropping. Shower was good but was hard to keep from spraying all over the bathroom. Bathroom door had bad damage.

Bad and dirty

They ac wasn’t working all night, i went downstairs to the lobby 4 times and they didn’t even bother to fix it .. i have a 2 years old baby that was sweating all night .. the bathrooms were so dirty and full of germs, bed was so un comfortable and not clean, body start itching 3 mins into sleep .. not recommended at all
