Nord Est Hotel

in need of makeover, rickety stair rail and worn out decor, but otherwise surprisingly good when you consider how seedy gare du nord area is. room #4 was quiet and had good wifi with clean bathroom. helpful staff. good location away from main roads

Recommended if you have to stay in this area, but try to avoid. Heartbreaking to see so many beggars with children ; please give them something as you pass.

Room was decent for the price. Not terribly small like many European hotels. Pleasant welcoming exterior.

Halls were somewhat gross. Both floors and walls were covered with cheap grade carpet that looked about 30 years old. Shower was very short

Very convenient location close to the Eurostar and metros, very friendly staff, had everything we needed and though could use a freshen up of the room, the beds were clean and comfortable.

Only remark is that the rooms could be updated and scuffs and wear and tear fixed.

Everything was good and clean. The staff were helpful and I was happy with the room.

Very Very Bad! Do not go there! Dirty and need a big update. Extremely disappointed and so expensive for what it is.

Location close to 2 main railway stations, elevator to help carry luggage upstairs, markets close by.

Tiny bathroom with nowhere to hang anything. Heating sometimes too hot, but windows could be opened when too stuffy

Adel was amazing to receive us and accommodate our requests.The stay was perfectly located and the pictures do justice to the place.

Location is fantastic! Staff was friendly upon checking but after that we seemed to be a bother. Our sink was plugged, they “fixed it” but it was still plugged and would drain extremely slow. Rooms are filthy. Bathroom sink/tub toilet is clean but walls, floors, doors and tiles were really dirty.

A cleaner stay! Maybe a dish for the soap and a hand towel face cloth. The bath towels are grey and super thin!

Location; comfortable beds

Shower curtain mouldy at the bottom told the gentleman on reception nothing was done; on checkout informed the lady at reception who said she would sort it out

I transferred here after froma less than satisfactory place and was so very pleased that I had moved. The location is excellent - close to trains, underground and buses but tucked away on a quiet side street. The area was perfectly safe for me to walk around as a single female later in the evening. The hotel staff were welcoming. The bed was deliciously comfortable with 4 (!!) comfy pillows. The shower had great hot water. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. The elevator was temperamental but the staff offered to help with luggage when it wasn't working.

There was a little fridge in the room but it wasn't working - would have been nice to keep my yoghurt in.

This small hotel was well located - close to the Gare de Nord and Gare de l'Est. You could walk into central Paris on the Rue La Fayette. There was the Saint Quentin covered market nearby and various shops and cafes as well as metro stops. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean and the beds comfortable.

The place was clean, and close to Gare du Nord and l’Est specially if you’re coming by Eurostar.

Out of the way little gem of a hotel in a lovely location and an amazing restaurant across the road. Looking forward to when the front rooms are renovated so I can have a view overlooking the garden, the next time I stay.
