Hotel Gavarni

The standard of service and friendliness of staff was unparalleled.

Room was a bit small and shower would be difficult to get in and out of for those with mobility issues, but the room was clean and well kept.

Staff was an excellent front desk person, going the extra mile to recommend places and help guest enjoy the stay. Nice decor. Very cosy. All staff friendly. Slight view of Eiffel Tower.

Elevator was often under maitenance. Free Wifi, but sometimes cut out. If you are fat, it will be a struggle to get into the shower in the classic double bedroom.

Our hotel was central located. We took the metro which was one block from our hotel! Tons of shops and local eateries right in our neighborhood. Carmille was always helpful and knowledgeable about where to eat or to go. His English was impeccable .

Nothing! It was quaint and cozy and you felt like you lived I. Paris. Will stay there again

The rooms, bathroom, hotel conditions, repairs going on during the day, the elevator, no A/C during winter, very old room.

Comfortable bed with good beddings (comforter, pillows).

The room has 1 unnecessary door which separates the hall way and the bedroom which is heavy and just makes the room smaller. The bathroom is very small. I wonder how can people of more than 175 lbs can manage to move around ( I am only 125 lbs).

It was uncomfortable being in a hotel with such thin walls but otherwise it's great.

The special room I was in had a bath that drained the jets, I unfortunately used it very late not knowing this, so worried me at first that something was broken and then I felt horrible for the rooms around me. Should come with a warning.

Hotel Gavarni is located in a very quiet and pleasant neighborhood, making it perfect for a relaxing stay in Paris.The area felt safe, elegant, and well-connected, yet peaceful away from the city crowds. All the staff were extremely kind, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. We felt very welcomed from the moment we arrived until the day we left. The hotel has a warm, comfortable atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend Hotel Gavarni to anyone visiting Paris.

This hotel was charming, though a little different than most hotels I've stayed in. The elevator is tiny, and was behind a door, so I was confused about it at first. We had actual keys too, which was cute. Overall, it's just an old, charming, quirky hotel. The room itself was beautiful and spacious. It's also in a nice location, easy to walk to from the metro, and close to the Eiffel Tower.

Just a note that I got a message from them on Booking.com that I had to follow a link to give them more information or my reservation would be cancelled. I got several of these messages. I reached out to the hotel directly, and they confirmed that was a scam and not to respond to it.

The location is perfect, it's just a 5-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower.

The elevator is not working. My room was on the 4th floor. It was shocking. They didn't mention on the hotel page that they do maintenance on the elevator

Amazing location ~ about 10mins walking to the Eiffel, yet tucked away in a more residential area. Staff were all very friendly as well.

My room was definitely small, but just fine as a solo traveller. Would recommend something larger if there’s more than 1 person. I’ve stayed in a number of different places in Paris, and always expect to hear noise from my room, but this room felt like I had the people above me, right at the foot of my bed.
