    Pros +

    • Wonderful junior suite with a great view of the city. Clean room, efficient service and courteous staff (in Paris.. OMG)
    • Great use of small spaces into hotel. Very welcoming at checkin. They even had lollipops which my 6 year old was very pleased. They had also put a sign in the elevator to notify/warn about a planned protest nearby which was excellent on their part.
    • Great staff; new, modern hotel; location

    Cons -

    • Breakfast was included but unclear on what was included when sitting down to the breakfast.
    • The twin bed sizes are horrifyingly small - even the thinnest person will have a hard time being comfortable in these child-size twins. The water pressure in the hotel is abysmal. Wifi has security glitches with MAJOR issues that need resolution.
    • The booking process was such a pain and the staff was simply not helpful. I got contradicting messages and phone calls after trying to make a very simple change to my arrival date. When I arrived, I was also greeted by a very cold young man who seemed in a bad mood. That's fair. Except not in a 5 star hotel. And that's the thing, this hotel is not to 5 star standards. 4 at best because Paris hotel rooms have low standard for infrastructure reasons (old buildings, thin walls, tiny rooms are the norm and in this case, you have a little space and the soundproofing is great). The room service staff was excellent and very friendly, but the reception staff was either rude (young man upon arrival) or neutral but inefficient (booking process).

The staff are simply fantastic. The rooms are beautiful and lighting design is great. The decorations and furniture are tasteful and everything is of course brand new. Different rooms have different layouts, nice. Location is convenient to everything.

The twin bed sizes are horrifyingly small - even the thinnest person will have a hard time being comfortable in these child-size twins. The water pressure in the hotel is abysmal. Wifi has security glitches with MAJOR issues that need resolution.

For Paris, the room was of a decent size and it was indeed soundproof. Again, a big plus in a city where most buildings have old thin walls. It was very clean when I arrived. The room service staff were very friendly and efficient. The location is great, you can walk to Le Marais or catch the subway at one of Paris' most connected stations "Republique". Lots of food and coffee shop options nearby.

Good location, rooms are good for Paris.

We stayed at Renaissance Hotel Paris and had a very upsetting experience. After housekeeping entered our room, we noticed that my fiancé’s wallet had clearly been opened and $1600 USD in cash was missing. We cannot prove exactly what happened, but we strongly believe this occurred during the cleaning service, as the money was there before and disappeared right after. We reported the situation, but unfortunately we felt there was no real solution offered and we left feeling extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. This is a serious matter and we would strongly recommend that future guests use the hotel safe at all times and be extremely cautious with valuables.Very disappointing experience for a hotel of this level.

Very good and comfortable room, even had a balcony. Very friendly and helpful staff! It is a little bit of construction around entrance, but I got help with my lugage from the hotel staff, so was not a problem at all.

Unlike other staff, the barmen was neither friendly nor helpful. Food at the bar was rather dissapointing too.

Very clean modern hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful.

    The vicinity wasn’t the best.

    Pleasant

My room had a door connecting to another room. I could hear someone talking on the phone in the middle of the night. I could hear every word

This hotel is in a great location to visit Paris. The rooms were of a great size and the beds were very comfortable. We didn’t have breakfast so couldn’t comment but the bar area had a lovely feel about it to sit and have a drink.

    Staff really kind

Quality, not so clean, small rooms

    10EmmaPosted on: 9-11-2024

Rooms were stunning. Staff was lovely. Location was great.

The pillows. But that’s it :)

    9BiancaPosted on: 7-1-2024

The room was clean and large enough given the size of Paris hotel rooms. The staff were helpful and kindly upgraded us given my Marriott status. They also provided a lovely welcome bottle of champagne for our anniversary which was a nice touch.

It was a bit far from most locations we were visiting but to be honest the traffic was generally bad with the upcoming Olympics so I am sure that played a role.

    The rooms were nice

I canceled one night as are flight to Paris was delayed but they wouldn’t refund my stay for the cancelled night
