Pros +
- The staff was friendly
- The staff - very friendly and helpful. We asked for extra towels and they called a cab to the airport for us.
- Good location, 4 min walk to the train, area isn't touristy so restaurant prices are reasonable. Fast food and supermarket nearby. Bed and pillows are excellent.
Cons -
- The rooms were extremely small , the toilet seat broke. It needs better maintenance over for the room
- The bathroom was awkward- no place to hang a towel and the floor got wet when you showered. I also wish there was air conditioning- it was very loud from the street noise with the windows open despite being on the 7th floor.
- The room I got had 1 Queen sized bed. Room is small, foot of bed is about 2 ft away from the wall where TV was, so you have to squeeze yourself to get to the bathroom. Bathroom walls could use a bit more scrubbing.

The hotel is around the corner from a great metro stop. The RER A line takes you to the Arc de Triomphe in -10 minutes. The reception staff and the breakfast staff were so nice!
Our room was uncomfortably hot at night.
Cleanliness, professional staff and perfect location.
The staff was very friendly! They let us check in early because the weather was unpleasant! All the staff are exceptional!
The bed is extremely hard! My girlfriend and I both have sore shoulders and backs from it. Also the lack of pillows. It came with 2 very flat pillows we had to ask the front desk for 2 more, which they did immediately for us.
proximity to the Metro, restaurants and other facilities. The silence.
the key: we have to have the key to lock the door from the interior.
Very nice hotel and friendly staff.
Everything was great!
Cost and location
Excellent location, near major subway hub. Quiet rooms on the backyard / backstreet. Fair size of the room, including work table.
Missing a water boiler, tea/coffee samples in the room. Bathroom equipment maintenance could be improved.
Location was excellent. Nice that we could accommodate our party in 2 rooms. It was pretty quiet except for a loud alarm clock that buzzed each morning at 6 am for over an hour.
Beds/pillows were look. Key situation was difficult. Only one key was provided and front desk did not want us to leave it with them when we left for the day. Not only did we not want to risk losing the key, but if the two people in the room did different activities, it was impossible to know who would return to the room first. In several instances we had to wait up to an our for the other person to return with the key,. Very inconvenient. We questioned what the key box on the counter was for and it was promptly removed! When the staff was questioned what to do with the key, she just shrugged. Very rude. In the beginning when they did take the key from us, no one was at the desk to hand it back to us when we returned. After waiting for someone to come we ended up having to retrieve our own key ourselves. This does not seem very secure! Anyone could pick up a key and enter a room unnoticed. A hot water maker for tea would have been nice esp for those of us who weren't, feeling very well.
Location. Staff spoke English very well
Soundproofing was very poor. Front desk is not 24 hours - I saw the employee sleeping when I tried to come in. I knocked on the window, I called the phone number and no one picked up. I was stranded outside for hours!
The hotel is ideally located close to one of Paris main subway hubs. Apart from the 7th floor, windows noise insulation is good (and there is not that much traffic at night even on the boulevard side). The Wifi is good and the staff is amiable and efficient. Small (rare) incidents are compensated fairly and without even having to ask. Whenever I posted "special" requests on Booking they were fulfilled and ready upon arrival.
I could have extended my stay for 2 more nights but the proposed prices (on Booking or Agoda) were outrageous so I did not pursue and left the city instead. I understand that holiday time brings in more affluence and that raising prices may yield more ROI but am not sure that it is a good policy to discourage long-time customers - they might remember it at tougher times when the hotel needs them but the choice is very diverse... And a last detail for fun: the breakfast staff still does not know how to cook boiled eggs properly! (or do not have the proper equipment to not overcook them)!
The position, the room was clean and large, the staff super nice and the breakfast
Close to metro station and RERBreakfast was OKCleanliness OK
Very small shower - like 40cm broad, hard to turn
Although a bit away from Paris Center, Nation is extremely well located to access any area of interest by metro and bus. Location was perfect for me. The hotel has adequate rooms, with smallish bathrooms, the only minus. The breakfast room is spacious, well lighted and a nice place to hang out as well as the patio. The staff deserves a high rate, extremely friendly. I felt very welcome and cared for.
The tiny bathrooms, but it is Paris!
Big bathroom with bathtub. Very romantic for a couple.
Our room was on the ground floor, it shook every time a subway train passed by. Also we couldn't open the windows because they overlooked the dining room directly. Our bed linen was not changed when we asked for it. One time in the evening the reception smelled of weed.
The room was very clean and the double room size is just right for 2 people. The neighborhood is also nice.
As usual, great location, staff, gym, and value-for-money...
I got a smaller room this time. But OK for one person solo, and very quiet, on the backyard. The breakfast buffet is good enough but could be improved with a wider choice of veggies - and a device to avoid overcooking the eggs...
Very quiet room with view on the backyard and small street with no traffic. Room size reasonable for Paris, accommodates a table where I could work, and wifi is fine. There is also a fitness room in the basement, open 24h. And of course the exceptional location, 5mn walk from one of the major subway hubs in Paris - also 1km walk (or jog!) from green path to "Bois de Vincennes"... Breakfast buffet is honest for a 3-Star, they could add a few more veggies and choice of eggs recipes maybe.
This time I was lucky, avoid if you can the rooms on the 7th floor that are noisy because of the aircon apparatus under the roof, and the windows on the boulevard that have been poorly renovated, "noiseproof-wise"... but maybe they fixed this since I had that bad experience early March?
