    Pros +

    • The place was bigger then we expected. We had the room at the front so we had a great view. The location was amazing, nearby nice restaurants and 15-20min walk from gare du Nord and 5min walk from the subway.
    • Clean and spacious
    • Cozy, cute, and quirky!

    Cons -

    • Elevator is the worst and smallest that i have ever seen. WiFi is not working properly in the rooms. Rooms are very small, dark and bad decorated. Location is not so close to train stations. As last, it is impoasible to say that : it is 3 star hotel.
    • It is really noisy. We slept at the third floor and could hear the people above us walk around. The other room was connected to the courtyard so in the morning you could hear the cleaners talk and throw trash away. Breakfast was really basic, only orange juice with bread/croissant and jam.
    • Room was too cold taking into consideration that it was 0 degrees outside.

    Cozy, cute, and quirky!

Wish there would have been a bit more lighting in our room. No overhead light in the front bedroom, and working lights were dim due to lightbulb choices. One or two more substantial table lamps and or floor lamp would have been perfect.

Lovely quiet location. Friendly helpful front desk.Charming salons for reading, working, having a late night drink. And just the best neighborhood. I will be back :)

Mattress was not great. Noise in the hall from people leaving early. I didn’t sleep that well unfortunately.

We took a junior suite for our young family. The room was spacious and the location is good. Bed were comfortable. It’s nice and quiet on a side streets and there are great restaurants all around.

The family room we took had a modern bathroom but no shower, just a handheld shower attachment on the bath. Then there’s the decor choices. Pornographic photos are hung around the hotel and in our room and there were stacks of the equivalent of playboy in the public areas. I’m not sure if it’s meant to be artistic but it makes the hotel feel seedy. My kids noticed them and said they made them feel uncomfortable, and we had to have some conversations I wasn’t expecting to have on this trip. The photo attached was taken in the bathroom in the lobby. Also worth noting it’s a walk to several metro stops and there’s no safe or fridge in the room.

The property is located at the awesome location, where we can eat and enjoy Parisian culture. Ride the bus, metro, or any form of transportation. Good to have photoshoot if you’re into Glam & Nostalgia.

There’s a lot of things needs to improve. The smell of the room is like someone had smoked a Tobacco for awhile. The worst was we got locked out of our room in the evening coz our keys doesn’t work, even the Master Key from the staff didn’t work. The Patio is tight and only a few guest can stay, read or eat during the peak lunch time. There’s no proper locker, if you need to leave the luggage since the check in time is at 3pm.

Really lovely location. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Great boutique style room and loved the whole decor theme of the hotel. The room was impeccably clean aswell as bathroom.

The only thing is the bed was extremely hard, but also only having brighter lights in the bathroom - which made it quite hard to get ready with shorter days with sunlight.

I travelled with my son for a concert at the adidas arena, so I didn't want to be too far from there. This hotel was ideal as it was only a 10 minute walk from Pigalle station. Each member of staff where great over the 4 days very friendly and helpful! The hotel itself is a lovely vibe, you really feel like you're in the middle of Paris. The space was also great. We had a superior room with a tiny balcony with French doors. It's a really quiet street with 1 pub on the corner, a 2-3 min walk, and it's a little more lively being near pigalle. It got us to everywhere we needed to go, though. Also, only 15 min walk from Gare de Nord if you want to take the train from the airport, which I would advise as the traffic can be crazy and this gets you there faster. It also has a seated outdoor smoking area if this is something that you would like.

We liked everything and would definitely return.

The staff was friendly and accommodating! The place was well kept and esthetically pleasing.

The breakfast could have been a bit better. It was nice to have it delivered to my room. But it's basically just all bread. They could add cheese or some fruit or boiled egg or something.

I cannot see how this hotel does not have a higher star rating. Overall it was exceptional and we would definitely stay there again.

Would have been good if the shower rose was mounted higher in the tub so we could stand more easily when showering, however the tub was HUGE and was put to g yood use during our stay

The location was amazing – just steps from great cafés and incredible food. While the hotel itself is a little dated, it really added to the charm and prestige of being in Paris. We could walk to the Louvre in about 30 minutes, and the Opera House, Moulin Rouge, and Montmartre in around 20. The breakfasts at nearby cafés were absolutely to die for! What makes this place special is its perfect location on a quiet street, tucked away from the constant buzz of the city.

Bed a bit noisy but comfortable

All the staff were amazing, polite and friendly. Location was great. Twin room was very comfy and clean.

The decor was stunning!! Very comfortable big bed and lots of room and storage space. A charming view out our 6th floor window. It was a joy to come home to each day!! A lovely area with many excellent eateries.

The tiny lift was charming but dependent on the previous user closing the door, so not always reliable. We would have liked an electric jug in the room.

I had a marvellous stay at the Alba Opera Hotel in Paris. The atmosphere was wonderfully cozy and comfortable, with an interior design that is both artistic and inspiring — it truly adds a unique charm to the place. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, making sure everything about my stay was smooth and enjoyable. It felt warm, welcoming, and full of character. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris — it’s the perfect blend of comfort, creativity, and excellent service.

Perhaps expanding the breakfast options beyond the typical French selection, by adding an American or English breakfast to the menu, would be a great improvement.

The hotel is well located , near Montmartre (take bus line 40 and you will be there without walking up the hill), Opera and galleries Lafayette. A very quiet neighborhood but not very easily accessible for taxis and uber. Few metres away is R. des Martyrs where you can find any kind of store you want, they stay open all day, 7/7. Also 2 metro stations are 7-10 minutes walk from the hotel. The bathroom was the best part of the room, it was all new, well designed and with clean towels.

The building is really old (build at 1896 off course not in its in original form), the carpet in stairs has holes in it and in the rooms there is a heavy smell that makes you feel they are not clean. All the furniture are really old , not by choice,  although the bed was rather comfortable. The bathroom was good but the window above the toilet is transparent and the neighbors can see you. There is no air-conditioning, but maybe more important there is no fridge in the room. There is an elevator in the building,  but...there isn't! No i 'm not mistaking,  the elevator must be the original one , reeeealy old , 2 persons can't be in it at the same time.Last but not least,  the decoration. Dark colors everywhere and photos of Lui magazine (the French Penthouse i guess) with not totally dressed girls. See the photos in my review. The last one is the picture over our bed. French people in general are very tolerant and don't have any problem with the way someone dresses. But the hotel isn't just for French people , families with small children or people from more strict religions may not feel comfortable with the decoration.

Second stay, lovely hotel, great location and the staff is great as well

Would add a kettle to the room

    8Anna-mariaPosted on: 7-10-2025

We had the best balcony with a great view! The bed was comfortable and we slept really well. The room was spacious. Loved the location - very safe and beautiful surroundings.

It was really dark in the room (the walls are painted in dark colours). The room could use a little touch up. There were ants in the room.

Clean linen, spacious rooms & bathrooms

No A/C, No basic facilities such as no kettles/iron in the room. We have to ask for them. We did not have shower cubicles.
