Pros +
- The staff was exceptionally welcoming. I was treated very well. Someone always had time to talk with me, and I felt that I really mattered. The location, near Place de la Republique, was great - access to many Metro lines. Would definitely stay again.
- The staff are very nice and helpful. The rooms are small and have minimum furniture and aren''t anything fancy but they have all of the necessities.
- Very competent and nice staffs. For the price the room was very neat and the pillow is comfortable which is very very important for me personally.
Cons -
- Thin walls between rooms. But I really could not hear words. Not noisy enough to keep me awake!
- The hotel is located on a very busy and loud street so it wasnt possible for me to keep the windows open at night and the noise outside could be heard in the rooms but its a city so you kind of expect that.
- The only thing was that one plug in the room didn't work so I couldn't charge many electronics all at once.

Good location and clean room. Very affordable fir Paris
Room was not heated and being January it was cold in the room. Bed only had one blanket
The location was central and the room was great.I didn’t sleep too well but that is down to over 20 years of shift work
The location was amazing for me. Super close to stations and so easy to get around. Front desk staff were friendly.
Room, elevator and amenities were VERY dated. Small and cramped and many non-crucial things didn't work in my room. The WIFI is not very good. Walls are incredibly thin and you can hear movement from hallways of your floor and floors above.
Great location. The room was fine but would have been cramped if there had been 4 of us. Simple and clean offering, perfect.
More places in the bathroom to hang clothes, towels etc. would have been useful.
Very good location, close to public transportation, helpfull staff for luggage
Rooms, heat system (we freezed at night), beds were different height)
Location pretty good for tourism
Old building, noisy and showers soo old
The location is amazing. Close to public transport. There are a lot of shops, restaurants and cafés near the hotel. Very close to many interesting locations for sightseeing.-Affordable price. This hotel is a perfect for travels on a budget, you've got all basics there.-The staff was really friendly and helpful-Basic toaletries provided-Fan provided in the room-Comfortable bed (only flaw is that one side of the double bed was facing the wall)
-Some of the blankets could be way cleaner, maybe they were washed but they were stained.Othervise the room was pretty clean.-It would be nice to have option to make tea or coffee throughout the day by providing a kettle in rooms or in a lobby/reception-The room is very small, so 3 people can barely, put their suitcases there, but that is obvious from the description provided by the hotel, so it's not really a problem, we knew what we'll get.-For plus size travellers the shower is really small/tight, so just be careful when you get in/out.
Very poor
I booked room for 4 people. They charged me dearly. I was given room on 6th floor. They have elevator running to 5th floor. I was asked to lift bags to 6th floor from there.I felt booking.com should have been transparent about room being in attic. Poor business practice.
We liked the room. Excellent shower. Appreciated our bed being made each day and fresh towels. Liked the petite balcony and open window options.. Plenty of hangersFriendly staff. Well situated for Metro.
No option of fresh fruit for breakfast... Would have appreciated that. Freshly made coffee not over percolated..
The only positive thing about this hotel is friendly staff.
I was looking for a place to stay one night with a family and selected it for good location and low price. At the end we were not able to stay there due to very poor condition. Rooms are very small and we were initially offered a room on the top floor/attic that felt claustrophobic. Matrasses and sheets are clean, but we found stains that looked like mold or ones from bed bugs on the bed frames (at that point we did not know this was from bed bugs). We showed pictures of stains to the staff and they gave us new rooms on another floor. No stains there, but blankets looked very old and not fresh, both rooms had very bad smell. Towels were grey from being old and overall the place felt unsanitary. We checked review on google maps and found out there were cases of bed bugs in the hotel. We were out of there same minute with no refund and had to find another place to spend the night.
Location was superb and we didn't have any problems during our short stay of 3 nights. Was a little noisy, but all of that was outside which wasn't down to the hotel!
Had all the essentials for a one night stay, helpful staff, was relatively clean
Balcony doors didn’t have locks, light switch didn’t work halfway through our stay
the staff was really nice and the location was so central! i've stayed here a few times before and always get a room with a great view on the street. it's great value for the price you pay and is a cozy place to stay in paris
The location was amazing - close to a wonderful neighborhood and to the metro, plus the staff was very kind and accommodating of my traveling partner’s disability. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It’s an older building with some lovely charm - I especially liked the spiral staircase and the very small balcony. Oh! And the fact that they helped our bags on our check out day is so helpful!!
I knew the hotel did not have A/C but with the unseasonably hot summer days, it was hard to cool down enough for sleeping. Taking cool showers at night helped, as did the provided fans. The room and bathroom are small…which I knew from other reviews. There is very limited floor space for anything but since we mostly only slept and showered in the room, that was ok.
Location was quite good.
Everything about the hotel was as bad as can be. The lift was not always working. The stairs are not easy to climb. The rooms are very tiny and dirty. The bedding looks filthy and the towels smell. The lighting is poor as there is only one table lamp in the room. There is no air con and the table fan is not very effective. The window of our room looked out onto an area between some buildings that was not a pleasing sight. The shower cubicle was very small and the shower curtain kept touching the body on every move while showering. The shower operating handle kept getting pushed back down by the body when moving. The shower rail was loose and the shower rest would not stay put. I would not stay here again as it is horrible and expensive. I do not recommend it to anyone unless in a desperate situation to find a place to stay when nothing better is available.
Staff were excellent very helpful
Location a bit out of main Paris, lift was faulty & stairs to top floor very steep
Very helpful staff, great location.
Dirty, claustrophobic room, which needs immediate and major renovation.
