I absolutely adored the location, the staff "AHHHH HELLO IRISH" every day gave us a great laugh. The value for money was amazing. This is where I'll stay every time in Paris and it's where I'll tell everyone to stay!

The hotel was immaculate. Buffet breakfast was not fancy, but was generous and had fantastic croissants. The staff were warm and helpful, and encouraged my rusty conversational French with patience! Great base for sightseeing. There are lots of great restaurants nearby and short walk from Metro and the Marais area. We have ha lovely 3 night visit.

The room was clean and quiet. The location is great. It’s only a two mile walk to the Seine. Many of the key Paris attractions are along the Seine. The Republique train station is around the corner from the hotel. Republique Square has ten cafes for dining. The only issue was the WiFi in my room on the 5th floor. The WiFi was fine on the ground floor.

The WiFi in my room on 5th floor wouldn't stay connected, I used more data from my phone service than I woukd have preferred.

The staff was absolutely amazing, so polite and friendly! The room was clean and had a very fresh smell, and beddings.

The only thing is a lot of delivery workers a few meters from the entrance making nose

Staff was very helpful. The balcony was a plus even if it was overlooking where the bicyclists picked up their delivery orders for Popeye's. Once the door was closed, it was very quiet.

I didn't need quite so many beds!

Excellent location with many vibrant restaurants and bars around. It’s easy to get to metro and if you like walking it will take you between 20 to 30 mn to get to Opera and little bit more to champs Élysée. Taxi are also not expensive to get around to main tourist attractions. In addition, if you book with breakfast you will have a very good selection with good quality food in the morning including eggs as you wish freshly cooked. The staff are very helpful and kind and it’s very good value considering the strategic location just few meters from place de la république.

It can be revisited to be more modern with very little effort as if you expect a modern style one you will be disappointed. The rooms are old fashioned and same for the decoration but bed are still comfortable and well heated. The breakfast area is also small and can be difficult to host all clients in the morning.

Metro stations very close

Very cold in the room. I had to sleep in my clothes and use two blankets. My room didn't have air conditioning; there was a floor fan instead. The room also needed renovation. Maybe I was just unlucky with the room. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

The only good thing is it's close to the metro. Most metro stations in Paris don't have elevators, and even electric escalators are rare. Don't bring a baby to Paris.

I wouldn't recommend it for families with babies.It's a very old hotel, everything is old technology, no air conditioning, the heating doesn't work before 5 pm, they said there was no extra heater but gave one after insisting, one of the staff members in particular was very indifferent. The baby cot has a thin pad instead of a mattress. The adult bed is uncomfortable. The bathroom is very cold.

It’s a Boutique Hotel with wonderful staff…Very close to metro stop..Lots of restaurants and Notre-Dame is 20 minute walk

The staff were lovely and helpful.

The beds would benefit from another quilt or heavy duvet. It was a little cold. The rooms were clean and tidied everyday however. Staff were so lovely and location fabulous for metro.
