Pros +
- Well arranged room so it doesn't feel narrow, good value for money.
- Excellent location, the exact charming Paris small hotel I was looking for (I didn’t want to feel like I was in a hotel room that could have been in any city), and the staff were excellent- helpful and friendly. I appreciated the 24/7 staffing of the front desk.
- The location is great. Easy access to Gare du Nord (if coming by train or the airport this is very helpful). We loved being a short walk away from good nightlife, the Canal Saint Martin, and the Marais.
Cons -
- The bed was a bit short, but since i was alone, it was ok.
- There were visible dust clumps on the back of the heater near the window and in the plug sockets. Normally, I wouldn’t look in these places, but it was extremely visible.
- The style of bathroom door does not allow for much privacy. We don't mind a smaller room, but with a sliding bathroom door, you know exactly what's going on in the bathroom. OK for solo travelers, not great for couples.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location with plenty of restaurants nearby. Clean, comfortable rooms (we had two) with fantastic noise insulation, ensuring quiet nights. The shower cabin and toilet are well maintained and function properly, with strong water pressure in each.
No complaints; everything was great.
Location was good, near metro stations and RER(train from/to the airport). Staff was really nice and kind and the room was clean, comfortable and quiet.
Overall it was a really pleasant stay, would love it if the bed was bigger, but maybe it was the room type we booked and also we would prefer harder pillows.
NO HEAT IN DECEMBER
We had booked the hotel for a week's stay...HOWEVER>>>The Heat was not working. It would blow heat for a few minutes then cold air was next...this was in December. We asked to have it repaired or to move to another room. No other rooms were available and they said there was no problem with the heat. I had a heat themometer (for checking my medication) and it read 16.9 C (aprox 64 degrees F).We called booking .com to ask for help...but they said the manger was contacted and to wait 30 minutes for them to try to fix it. They had already been in our room twice with no offer to fix the problem.. We had to book another hotel and leave this one...we are now trying to get a refund for the week's charges as well as the city tax we paid when we arrived. AVOID THIS PLACE
Well connected to the métro system. Very friendly personnel. Very good price service ratio.
This 2 star surprised me. It is in a good location that is quiet and close to many things. The room is good for 1 person really. It seemed dingy but I tried another hotel which was rated higher and this one was better.
Good for solo travel but too cramped for 2 people.
Great deal! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was great, lots of outlets, storage and mirrors. 3 min walk from the closest metro station. Lots of great restaurants near by
- cosy room- location- staff- cute neighbourhood with things going on - felt safe also for a woman- having the option to leave suitcase for a few hours until my departure- the room could be heated with the AC
- the room smelt a little weird but it was not an issue - I aired it out and it was fine
I've often stayed at this simple, spotlessly clean and friendly hotel in an interesting neighbourhood just 15 minutes walk or so down the hill from Gare du Nord. Rooms are small but always clean and there's a warm welcome. The wifi is excellent, and I was able to have a Teams meeting without any interruption. It's close to the Metro and bus routes or just walk down the hill to the Marais etc.
The room was comfortable but much smaller than expected. It appeared larger in the photos. The neighborhood felt safe and restaurants and small shops were very close. It's also close to the train stations and shopping areas. The breakfast was considered a buffet but it had really limited options. Each guest was provided a tray of the same breads and pastries daily which were fresh and delicious but I desired a change of options. No eggs, pancakes, waffles or meats were offered. The staff were very polite and friendly.
The room appeared larger in the photos. We were on the top floor with the angle roof room and that made the bathroom smaller than it already was. Hooks on the bathroom door and at least one more towel rack is needed. I didn't like the old enamel drinking cups in the room. No refrigerator or ice option available or bottle water. The shower door was really close to the sink which hinder getting in and out.
The location of the establishment is extremely good, majority of metro lines connect to "Republique" station easily; furthermore neighborhood is safe and quiet to hangout. Room was big enough considering the Paris hotels.
Unfortunately the room was never warm/ hot enough, the AC system is quite problematic; during resets at night it converted to cold and we struggled a lot.
A small room and small bathroom but all good quality and nice outlook over the street. Quiet as street not too busy and window insulation excellent. Breakfast useful if short of time but mainly bought in croissant, rolls, Madeleine etc.Good to have kettle and large mugs in room.
All good
Great location and friendly staff
It can be a little noisy from the bustling community below if you leave your window open. It did not detract from my stay though,
The location was really good, there is bakery around the corner and a small coffee place. the supermarket across the street was also very convenient
bathroom is quite small but clean
very friendly staff, clean comfortable, simple room
common parts need some refurbishment
Very clean and towels were changed daily
The room was rather small (especially the bathroom) and we are small people - but I assume this is the case with most of these kind of hotels
Friendly front desk staff, CLEAN room, comfortable bed, QUIET, close to a metro stop.
Bathroom is extremely small and somewhat oddly configured.
The place is actually in good neighborhood, right on the corner of this place is very deliciaus baker shop, (Very delicious and popular) on the other side of the street is good and delicious breakfast restaurant. It's callm place, not far from the station and other places where you want to visit. View from the room is typical french small street. Personal is kind and helpfull.
The room was way too small. Bedrooms are not comfortable and pillows feels like there are no pillows. Be ready, for the moment when you realise that there is no good closing doors, its movable a side doors which is not closing enough not to see someone inside :) but it was not a problem. French breakfast is only buns and crouasant with nutella and yogurt. Nothing special, its ok. Beds are too small and not comfortable at all.
