This was a real find.After trying several budget hotels in Paris in the past couple of years, this was by far the most comfortable for remote working.The room was not big (I booked smallest room) but had a good work desk and good Wifi (many budget hotels do not offer that)The location close to Gare de l'Est train station meant there were several places around to grab a late night snack or coffee when working late.The breakfast was very good and inexpensive.The rooms, dining room and shared areas were modern, clean, cozy and well maintained.The location is very well connected to both airports by transit.The staff was very friendly and helpful.

There is nothing picturesque, trendy, or very "Paris" about the immediate vicinity of the hotel (although it's safe), it is just "fine" and convenient.

Located right in front of Gare de l'Est, it's convenient for taking the train. Best location if you travel by train early in the morning. There are many shops nearby. The staff are friendly.

Extremely friendly employee, “Farid”. You can see and feel, he likes his job and wants customers to be happy. The room was great with bathtub. Breakfast was ok with fresh cheese and ham, freshly baked bread and enough orange juice and other. The location is at 5 meters from metro entrance, at 80 meters from East Station, and by foot at merely a small 10-minute walk from Gare du Nord. so convienantly located. There is a good TV with quality image, and fridge in the room, as well as a safe. Cleanliness is perfect and price is ok. I will certainly return to this place in the future…

Really thin walls so you can hear everything the neighbors do

First time in Paris, we enjoyed our time here. Cute little room in a charming older-styled building, was perfect for 2 days. Was well organized and clean. The staff was extremely sweet and friendly. The Hotel is 1 minute walk from the Eastern Train Station, Metro lines available right when you walk out thr door. Many cute Bistros nearby.

I can recommend this hotel for a short stay. The location and cleanliness are top-notch. The staff is also friendly and helped us print a photo for the Metro pass. It is a great place.

I found the bathroom too small to be used comfortably, the shower lacks a shelf where to put shampoo, the sink is also minuscule. This hotel is better suited for short stay and somebody with little luggage. At night there is a soft drone-like buzz that comes from the bathroom ventilation which can not be switched off.

Easy location, quiet at night and comfy bed

Perfect stay for 2 nights. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom with all necessary facilities. Location is the best as it’s very close to the railway station Paris de l’Est, plus the metro and bus stations are right near the hotel so you can easily to the downtown. Several shops and restaurants nearby to explore. The staff were friendly and helpful☺️ I had an amazing time.

The location is just outside of Gare du East and adjoining Burger King.

Small size of rooms and bathroom. And the noise coming from other rooms as well as at night noises from outside as people fight or scream but the rest is ok. Also, the lights in the bathroom give shadow effects on the face and they must improve.

Friendly staff. The room was much bigger than I expected, comfortable, surprisingly quiet considering the area. Very good mattress, and very convenient to have the fridge in the room. The room was also nicely warm and even had option of extra blankets and pillows. All this is very unusual in a 2-star hotel, so i was very satisfied. The location of the hotel is unbeatable, with the foyer entrance just a few steps from the Gare de l'Est metro station. Moreover, on Saturday night I was out and missed the last metro and waiting times for uber was too long, but I found plenty of bus options to bring me back. Indeed, the area is “typical” of the large train stations (it can feel a bit dodgy at night), but the hotel feels very safe, as it’s locked during the night and you have to ring a bell to get in.

As mentioned in other reviews, you may sometimes hear guests from adjacent rooms through the ventilation system in the bathroom. However, this is easy to fix as there are two doors that can be closed between bathroom and bedroom.

The location was great. Gare de l'Est is a busy area and felt like less of a tourist area, but very close to Gare du Nord where we arrived (but felt like the kind of place I wouldn't want to stay). The beds were really comfortable. We were at the front of the building, floor 3, and we couldn't hear the road at all with the windows shut. Great to have a fridge.

We knew the hotel didn't have air con, but as it was January this was fine for us. It was still actually quite hot, we had to turn the radiator off completely. We could hear others in the hotel but it didn't disturb us overnight. Nowhere sensible to plug the kettle in.

The room was clean, VERY spacious, quite, there was a tub, water was hot, the room was warm, the paid breakfast was worth it and it was a stone's throw away from Gare de l'Est - about 30 seconds away - you can see it from the window. There was 24/7 staff and they were friendly.I was excited to stay here and will certainly stay here again. Worth the money and cheaper than many others!

Super close to different metro lines and Gare de l’Est. The room was bigger than I was expecting and had several food options directly around the hotel. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly.

The bathroom was a little outdated, and depending on which room you’re in, you can hear the noise from the busy street outside, although being from another big city, it wasn’t an issue for me.
