Opera Marigny

Location

Room was too small , they charged extra for the kids, we were traveling with 2 children aged 10 and 13 . Initially they refused to let all of us stay in the same room and insisted that we get another room .

Clean and well managed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom modern and spacious.

I really did not dislike anything. The room and the elevator were small but that is to be expected in Paris.

Sınce my first staying atthishotel , I never check for other options.this is my 7-8 th visit to Marigny!

Location, clean and the breakfast.

The hotel is exceptional, with an excellent location within walking distance of renowned designer boutiques and major landmarks. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Tess, who was highly responsive and helpful both prior to our arrival and throughout our stay.

Nothing everything was exceptional and good value for money

The bed was very comfortable and good size. The room size was fair and the washroom size was good. Modern decorated. The tv was perfect size and the bar fridge and desk were an added touch. A nespresso machine with coffee pods, coffee cups, espresso cups, tea bags, and water provided along with a kettle. What I liked most about the washroom was the layout, spacious shower, and a lit makeup mirror, hairdryer. I had a room with windows in the washroom which was nice. Heating was great and I’m certain that the cooling would work well for hot days. The breakfast was good with plenty of variety such as crepes, yogurt, various French cheeses, applesauce, pancakes, madeleines, eggs hard boiled or scrambled, sausage or bacon, deli meats, vegetables, fruit compote and whole fruit, juice, croissants, and other pastries, toast, and cake. Staff were so polite, friendly, helpful and attentive. On Christmas day, I was offered a second cup of coffee at breakfast which was great as I needed a second cup. Cleaners were nice, friendly and efficient with daily services. This hotel is located in a perfect area of Madeleine which is so close to Opera Garnier, Galleries Lafayette, rue Haussmann, within walking distance. Metro 2 minute walk. Nice hotel to stay in.

In my room, I could hear quite loudly was doors closing. A few times I could feel the wall shake when a door to another room closed. Huge gap in one of the windows in the washroom. A stained light covering. The seam splitting in the centre of the headboard. Dimmer switch would cause lights to flicker. Mold spots in shower corners.

Excellent central location renovated rooms super clean and amazing and helpful staff! Would visit again! Did not try the breakfast but saw it had a decent selection for the price (incl omelette and bacon).

Fantastic location and great size rooms for Paris and the cost. Very friendly staff.

Small room

Pleasant stay with a comfy bed and clean bathroom.

Unfortunately, there was scaffolding in the front which blocked the street view. However, we know this can't be helped at times, so wasn't dissappointed.

The location was great, a very walkable location and close to public transportation. The hotel was clean and a lot of effort was made to present a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was helpful, kind and went above. They anticipated our needs by asking about storing bags before I asked, offering tips about traffic times and offering to call taxi services without prompting. It was a great hotel. The breakfast had variety also!

The bathroom area in the room didn’t have a door-there was a separate space and door for the toilet but the shower felt like it was in the room a bit, not as much privacy

Location and staff

Showers flooded bathrooms and overhead shower heads spray everywhere.

While the room itself was very nice and very clean, there was scaffolding directly outside our window with workers on our level. No bar, breakfast was adequate. Staff were pleasant.

Breakfast good. The junior suite for 4 people was a little cramped but good value. Beautiful decor, wonderful staff, super clean, amazing location in the 8th arrondissement and excellent breakfast

Rooms a little snug

Excellent location. Room clean and comfortable, only issue bathroom with no door which was not ideal as sharing with my daughter but we managed.

Clean, quiet and located pretty central in Paris. Train station and metro is close by.

We experienced electrical faults in the bathroom resulting in unpredictable light in the bathroom during showering etc.

The staff shone, beyond exceptional service at all levels. Friendliness and efficiency, proactive. For them alone, I would return to this hotel without hesitation.Breakfast was very good also, no complaints at all.Location is also useful for many angles of walking thru Paris.

Leaving! I really can't think of anything else.
