Pros +
- It is within walking distance to Gare Du Nord, so vrey convenient transit, which was why I booked. The staff were friendly and attentive.
- Location friendly clean
- We had to be asked to move rooms and FOH where very helpful
Cons -
- Pictures do not accurately reflect the state of the rooms, and there is a reason there are no pictures of hallways, lobby's, and other common areas: the hotel is in bad shape. Visible water damage to the ceiling, wall peeling & shower smelled bad.
- I personally didn’t like the spiral staircase. No cups in room for tea or water
- 1st room was small not practical, or clean

1st room was small not practical, or clean
Breakfast was very good, the rooms were beautiful, very comfortable and everything we needed for this vacation. Location was great, the stuff was great.
The rooms are a little bit old and dirty, they need a renovation, but per total were okay
Staff was very friendly, good breakfast.
The room was so small,
Very good location, reception works for 24/7
There was a lift renovation ongoing even though the receptionist mentioned that the works have ended - not true. Also the cleanliness of the room was pretty bad, we had to walk in shoes cuz the carpet was very dirty. They don’t clean your room unless you stay for 4+ nights.
It was central, near the train station. Staff were friendly and our dog felt welcome. Loved the city vibes in that area - the many cafes and restaurants.
Carpeted rooms I find usually fishy to say the least - they have a tendency of lending the room "previous owner" smells and stains. It would not be a bad business idea, negotiating rates with the various parking garages you have in your area for visitors to park there cars.
The room was cozy and had warm blankets
The room was dirty and dusty. It wasn’t clean prior to our check in and wasn’t cleaned the days after. There was also construction being done in the building so the mornings were noisy
The location was good.
One lift was out of service. There were renovations happening at the hotel and it was very noisy. The electricity to my room cut out twice during my one night's stay.
The great location
It was a very old building, the rooms were very small. The first room they put us in smelled like humidity, had hair in the bathroom, mold in the shower, stains on the carpet floor and the bed was too small for two people. We complained and the staff were acting difficult first but finally after asking to the staff of the late shift we manages to get the room right next to that one which was cleaner and the bed was a tiny bit bigger. There were also construction going on in the building so there was no lift. The room isolation is also very tu bad, you can hear other people’s conversations from the other rooms. But by far what was worse was the mold and hairs in the room and bathroom and the humidity smell.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. The amenities were great for the price point and the location is great.I believe I have found a gem in Paris
Location by Gare du Nord and lots of restaurants was helpful. The room was larger than expected and beds were comfy!
Our triple room was located on the 6th floor with the elevator only working up to the 5th floor then stairs. My parents traveling with are elderly so chose the property for the elevator access. Would be nice if that difference for triple rooms was clear in the details provided before booking.
I liked the location, cleanliness, courtesy and kindness of the people who worked there, I highly recommend it
Pros: the location was impeccable; it is great if you need to get onto the train that takes you to the CDG airport. The price was very good for the time of the year.
Cons: it might have been due to the snowfall in Patis that day and maybe a bit of frustration due to previous guests, but the front desk reception was a bit off. I was kind and polite, but all I got was attitude and, if I think about it, rudeness from the person that checked me in.
We liked that it was warm and the bathroom was clean and we was able to have shower. The staff was nice and very polite and nobody disturbed us.
The condition of the room is not 3 stars Bathroom very bad condition sorry to say but I was expecting more. The bathtub was rusty, the support in front of the mirror was also rusty. The bedroom space was small, the bed had 2 mattresses on which when you sat down, the body position tilted towards the inside of the bed and uncomfortable to sleep for a couple. On the TV you could only watch a few programs in French, on the table in the room there were 2 coffees and that's it, not even a bottle of water. It's a shame because the staff is very nice and the location is excellent with access to everywhere.
Bad
I usually don’t leave reviews, but this experience was so bad that I felt I had to share it.I arrived at the hotel at 1:00 a.m., only to discover that the bed sheets were not clean and there was hair on the pillows. The toilet and shower were also extremely small.I asked to change rooms and ended up upgrading to a better room with a normal bathroom, for which I had to pay extra. This time, the staff checked the bed sheets before I entered the room to make sure they were clean. In the morning, I woke up to loud construction noise. The hotel was undergoing renovations, which was never mentioned on the website. If I had known I was booking a hotel under construction, I would never have made the reservation. When I tried to talk to the reception, they told me there was nothing they could do. I had already paid in advance.I find it unacceptable to come on vacation and not be informed about such heavy and noisy renovations — it feels borderline deceptive. There is an elevator in the hotel, but it did not work during my entire stay. The Wi-Fi did not work for the first two days out of my four-day stay.Out of four nights, my room was cleaned only once.Breakfast: I arrived late a few times, and many items were already gone (omelette, croissants). I accepted that, even though arriving 30 minutes before the end of breakfast should still mean food is available. However, on the third day I arrived at 9:00 a.m., right in the middle of breakfast, and half of the items were already finished. When I asked the staff member in charge if there would be more omelette, he said no and that it was finished for the day.In short, if you read all this and still decide to stay at this hotel, at least don’t pay for the breakfast.I strongly do not recommend this place. Very disappointing and unfair.
The location, literally just down the road from the station was fantastic. Super helpful and close to connecting stations. The staff were also super super lovely people, welcoming and very helpful!
Firstly, the place smelt of damp upon arrival. There is so much potential, like with cleanliness and general decor/structure of the place. Had it looked like the photos, which it can do, then we would have much more positive reviews.
the location close to the metro station and train station
smoking smells, the dirty room, the noise, poor facilities
It was frustrating!
The light in the room went off a few times a day, the heat didn’t work well, towels were not replaced room was not cleaned the key card getting in the room didn’t work the tv remote didn’t work either.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was good, beds comfortable and breakfast tasty. Very close to Gare du Nord without being too noisy
The room had some dust, not enough toilet paper and the bath was worn. Breakfast was very busy and kept running out of plates and food. Didnt seem like there was enough staff and the one worker was rushed of his feet
