Even though we were told that we were being given an upgraded room, it was beyond tiny room reaked of cigarette smoke. When we brought it to the attention of management, they sent someone so it then smelled of locker room. we settled for that

Great bathroom

The poor quality of choices for breakfast- completely ruined the experience with rice crispies and corn flakes, servers that don’t even greet you or ask you if you want to have a coffee. The dutch guy at the fron was very unpleasant

Location and 'boutique' size.

It has a beautiful lobby to stay and the breakfast is fresh with the best croissants.

Nothing to complain, maybe that the beds were to comfortable to get out of them

I love everything about Castille, especially the concierge team. They are wonderful and incredibly helpful. The only thing I would mention as a possible improvement is adding more options to the lunch and dinner menus for guests who follow a vegetarian or gluten-free diet

The barman & waiter at the bar were excellent - I went there every night and it was fantastic - the hotel room was incredible

Our deaignated room was cald, we had to move to another room. It was a suite, but the absence of carpets, made it feel empty and the lightening was insufficient.reataurant very badly organised.

The bar was excellent and the bar staff fantastic. Excellent cocktails. The breakfast had great variety. Our room was clean and had two bathrooms. A nice selection of tea and coffee plus crisps and sweets.

Checked in around 6pm. The reception staff said bonjour then immediately asked for a further €300 as a security deposit. Although this was credited back after checking out, it wasn't expected. We weren't offered complementary champagne. I saw it, but no one offered us a glass and you dont feel you can help yourself! You are left 4 tiny milk in the room and you need 2 per cup of coffee. Left a note requesting extra. Although the note was acknowledged, still only 4 left. Our room had a bed up a flight of stairs. It was a health and safety nightmare. The person sleeping near the banister took their life in their hands if they needed the bathroom in the night as the edge of the bed was a few inches away from the top of the stairs, so you had to crab around the bed to avoid falling down them. The bathroom was very small. Stayed 3 nights. Breakfast on day 2, cold coffee was served. Day 3, again cold coffee. Plus the bacon and sausages hadn't been replenished even though it was only 9am. I don't believe this is a 5 star hotel. I did one night in St Germain at a 4 star hotel which was more opulent in every way. This hotel is 4 star at a push.

Great boutique hotel. Location is within walking distance to Louvre, Place de la Concorde and Champs -Elisees and Opera. All fine boutiqes are just around the corner on Rue de Mont-Honore, Pl Vendome is on the next block. There are few good cafe and restaurants in the neighborhood

There are no power outlets on or nevt to night stands

My 4th visit to Castille - Excellent lobby, very comofrtable rooms, really nice breakfast, super efficient staff

Lifts are third class - bad carpet with unvacuumed tattered rugs

Loved the lobby area and different alcoves for seating , there was always fresh infused water waiting as you entered the hotel !

More options needed on the menu of the in house restaurant.

Staff was nice. Location good.

Filthy. Dated. Not up to date. The furniture is exactly the same as 20 yrs ago. The toilet walls were riddled with stains and filth. Pubic hair in the bath tub. A bed that makes noises and is unstable when u get in and sleeps awfully. My son told me that the bed he stayed in at the hostel ( yes a hostel) a week ago slept bed than this bed in a supposedly 5 star hotel. I stayed here numerous times 20 years ago and the rooms did not get updated. The cracks in the walls, the dirt, the filth in no way resembles anything close to a 5 star hotel. The same goes for the chairs in the bar and restaurant. Stained and filthy. Disgusting. Never again.

Located in a quiet street but right near to major shopping and cultural attractions. Cosy elegant interiors.

Breakfast was terribly expensive. I stayed two times just recently. The room second time was rather small.

I liked the fact that the room had a nice balcony with a view. The breakfast was excellent. The stuff was very polite and welcoming. The location was perfect. I walked around almost everywhere.

I can't think of anything that I didn't like.

Excellent location. Friendly staff. Wide bathroom. Great bathroom amenities. Unlimited free/complimentary snacks.

Room 407 upper bathroom/shower: Shower drain was clogged when we arrived; had to ask housekeeping to declog it. Bathroom also had bad odor.

Location, elegant and great staff, great breakfast

Great location in the heart of Paris, the little courtyard is simply lovely. Staff super nice and polite. For the moment my favorite hotel when I come in Paris with my wife.
