The location is good
I found bugs in my bed, the staff was friendly but didn't offer any compensation. I couldn't sleep all night and I could hear the TV next to my room.
The room was simple yet cosy.
The bed was a bit hard and the staff didn’t have me the best welcome vibes.
The location was good
Wasn't clean the bed, they didn't change the blankets and I found hairs on it when we arrived at the room
Good for short stay near train station adequate to price. New mattress made stay comfortable.
Location was very good, a lot of restaurants and markets nearby. Room was clean, could have a better light though.
The walls are thin I guess, cause there was a lady and child that speak super loud in the next room so I couldnt sleep very well as they screamed all day and night.
Central location and very good value for the location.
Aged and dilapidated. There was no TV, no toiletries (aside from cheap hand soap), no city view, no fridge. Some other guests were noisy and the sound insulation of the walls feels paper-thin. Woke up with many alarms from other guests, starting at 05:00.
room is ok location is also ok but there is no lift i got a room on 3rd floor and i have language as well so too difficult to manage staff is also good but in night there was no English speaking person available so its take long time to check in even i have paid booked
staff is good location is good
Being on the street, lively.Good location.
The apartment smelled of smoke.
location
rude staff and strong smell of mold in the room
Left before the first night,...
Read the reviews about bedbugs too late, when we had already booked it. Went in and checked the place straight away and found one at least. Left immediately the same night.
Location and clean room
The attitude of the recepcionist
Location is convenient if you need to travel via Gare Montparnasse.
Dirty (some cockroaches in the bathroom), noisy...I did some bad hotels...this one is one of them
Location was really good, close to metro and bus. Lots of cafes and bakeries on the street.
Bathroom sliding door was very hard to close and open as there was no handle, no AC, hall was very dark, no kettle in the room. Floor was very dusty and in general not very clean. Staff was nice but it would be helpful if they would speak English.
disgusting, why isn't this hotel closed for hygiene reasons ?
cockroaches, bedbugs, filthy room, filthy bed, stains on bed and everywhere,
english speaking good staff, quite good location with lots of shops and restaurants, the room was modern and fresh
stairs were uncomfortable, the building was old (most of hotels in paris are)
Location is great, near to everything I wanted to see in Montparnasse and close to Gare Montparnasse. The guy at the front desk was accommodating to change my room to a lower floor rather than have me go up four flights with a heavy suitcase. It's my own fault for booking a hotel without an elevator.
It's a bit run down and grimy. Not dirty per se, but not really clean. Carpets and paint are in need of a refresh. Also smells a bit stale. Granted it was a hot summer day, but still. My room, which they were kind enough to change to a lower floor had a window that opened up to a roof of the lower back half of the building. So I couldn't really keep it open all night, as it was clear people sit on the roof and smoke. Also, it's possible it was mosquitos or something else, but I got eaten alive by insects overnight in the room. No evidence of bedbugs, but I came away with half a dozen bites on my arms and legs. To be honest, not the best value for money, even for a budget hotel.
The room was fine and the location is great. The street is very lively and fun, and train and metro close by.
The lively street is great during the day and evening, but saturday night was very loud (calmed down around 4-5 am).I would probably stay at this hotel again (because of the location) but NOT in the summer. There is no AC and the nights were horribly hot. The hotel could not loan us a fan so we bought one, still it was hard to sleep.
No breakfast, but just around the corner there was a brasserie. I liked the atmosphere of an old house. Warning for older / disabled people: there was no elevator. It didn't bother me. No Internet connection.
There was a Wi-Fi without Internet connection.
Great location and value. Friendly staff.
No elevator for luggage, but still not a surprise so all ok!
