Closed to main stations, quiet room was provided, clean, friendly staff.
A small refrigerator would have been great.
The location was excellent. Many great sites within walking distance. Easy access to the metro station.
The air in our hotel room did not work to cool our room. The room was not totally cleaned when we moved in. The room had used beverage bottles on the floor when we first checked into our room.
We liked this hotel's location/proximity to Gare de Lyon. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Breakfast was adequate and equal to a U.S. Best Western. There is an interesting elevator which stops at the 1/2 floors point.
We did not like that there was a huge construction project right across the street from the hotel and which will take years to complete. This hotel is on Blvd. de L'Hopital and there time when there are a cacaphony of medical/police sirens screaming thru
Warm shower
First night I pulled down duvet noticed several long black hairs on sheets.looking closely noticed stain. Went to reception and gentleman came to room and stripped bed and returned with fresh sheets.Cobwebs on ceiling.Very noisy area across from train.
The room, although small, was comfortable and clean.
The bathroom and shower were very small. An average-sized American male would not be able to fit. Also, it was hard to dry my hair in the small width between the wall and the shower door. It is very inconvenient to have steps(up/down) after the elevator.
Perfect location and very clean.
The shower was a bit small.
Location and nothing else.
They had a very nice umbrella in the room. It saved my day!
Customer service. Very knowledgeable and friendly.
Close proximity to train station. Small comfortable room.
On checkout when we went to leave the room, the entire corridor was transformed into a worksite with some trades starting what looked like renovations/repairs. These trades seemed shocked to find people in a room on that floor.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Even when we got stuck in the elevator one time.
Location. No evening activity that is reasonably close.
Breakfast was good. The price was fair.
The shiower in the bathroom was leaking water and was too small.
A lot to like! Across the street from Austerlitz station (we did side trips from that station), friendly and helpful staff, 5 great restaurants either next to it or a VERY short walk. Newstand, souvenir shop 50ft away and just off the Seine River. Follow the river to all attractions OR take the Metro just outside the hotel door.
Location, right in front of Austerlitz. Comfortable bed. 24/7 reception.
We stayed just one night to take train in the early morning. So i didn’t like or dislike anything, it was just okay. Shower worked well and bed was comfortable. Room was clean. It was about 10 to 15 mins walk to the Austerlitz station, not really 5 mins walk like locals would say.
When we checked in we were provided the card key that didn’t work. I had to go back to the front desk and ask for the replacement. The guy said “this one will work for sure” and it didn’t. I went back again and asked him to come show me how it works. He checked the card key again and took different card key this time. Took us 20 mins to just get into our room, and my mother had to stand in the hallway with luggage. Please throw away the old keys that don’t work!Hotel has elevator but some floor levels require few steps down or up to reach. You get room in level 1, but depends on the rooms you will need to take stairs down to get to your room. If you have a heavy luggage with you, and you get there late night exhausted, it will disappoint you. As usual, photos look a lot better than reality of this hotel and I didn’t think the price was suitable for this hotel. There was no water in our room, hotel has a vending machine that accept 2 euro coin only and the front desk doesn’t exchange bill with coins. They provide “filtered water” and it’s up to you to trust its cleanness.
Disappointing
We have traveled to Europe many times and agreed that our rooms 403 and 404 were the smallest rooms we have ever encountered in over 30 years of travel. Embarrassingly small and certainly not worth $150 per night x 6.Also, our travel partners stayed in Room 404 and were awakened throughout the night by bug bites. They had small welts on their arms and torsos consistent with bedbug bites and had to take measures to eliminate all bugs when they got home
The only problem was that the room was cold, otherwise, It is amazing for its value, and the people in the lobby were amazing, I will surely come again if I visit Paris again.
Clean. Comfortable. Convenient to the train station and metro. Easy, walkable, location.
On the small side although it met our needs.
