About

The completely renovated Hotel Du Parc, is located in the heart of the lively Montparnasse district, around a peaceful square. It is ideally located a few steps from Edgar Quinet metro station (2 minutes walk), line 6, which will take you directly to the Eiffel Tower or the Bercy district and a few yards from the Montparnasse Tower (5 minutes on foot). The renowned district of Saint-Germain-des Près is also a few metro stations from the hotel. All the staff will be at the guest's entire disposal 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to answer all requests: information on the services offered by the hotel, reservations for shows, restaurants or taxis. All rooms are air-conditioned, equipped with a flat-screen TV, and free Wi-Fi. A buffet breakfast is served every morning in a dining room overlooking the park, in a relaxing and typically Parisian setting. Hotel Du Parc is just a 5-minute walk from Montparnasse-Bienvenüe metro station, giving you direct access to the most Parisian place: Les Abesses with its restaurants and artists. But also very close to Gare Montparnasse, to facilitate your trips in the provinces. Guests can also discover many museums, theaters as well as the famous Catacombs and for shopping addicts, the Galeries Lafayette are located at the foot of the Montparnasse Tower but also many shops. Please note that the reception is on the 1st floor of the hotel and can only be accessed by climbing the stairs.

    • The location is great, room is comfortable. Many restaurants and metro close by

    Cons -

    • The rooms were small, but it¿s a small hotel so I can¿t be that critical. The lower floor rooms do not have a good view.
    • The elevator starts on the first floor, so you have to carry your suitcases to it.But from there everything is between reach :)The stairs were decorated so pretty though
    • This pig needs painting.

Good 3 star hotel near the rail station. It was no luxury stay.

    This pig needs painting.

Good location. The room and the bathroom were really clean. Always somebody at the reception which is good.

The room is very small but as expected.

Great location. Good selection of restaurants nearby. Comfortable beds

    8ZanaPosted on: 10-5-2025

The room was very comfortable. No problems with noise. It was close to everything and lots of restaurants to choose from. The room was a tad small but completely doable. Good breakfast - worth purchasing.

No elevator from ground to 1st floor but I would still stay here. Not a huge problem.

    Awful

This facility did not have any heat in the room and when asked to turn heat in our freezing room , he told us we don’t turn on the heat not before October and handed us a blanket and said this should keep you warm. We decided to leave the very next day and demanded to have the Tourist tax and the rest of the remaining days refunded to our account . Despicable!

The staff were all so lovely and helpful. They were all such an asset to the hotel.

Just the stairs up to the reception. Difficult to navigate with luggage but the staff helped us both on arrival and departure.

Lovely little quirky hotel close to metro, station, restaurants and the wonderful Montparnasse Cemetery. We had room 501 with only a bit of a view but blissfully quiet so could open the window at night. Great staff. Very good simple breakfast. Throughly recommend for a short break or to head sth on the trains. Excellent value.

Booked with minimal notice and was suprised to get such a lovely room at such a great price. superbly placed in the cafe district of Montparnesse, this was central but extremely quiet. Staff very helpful and polite

Lift was quite small to get two people and two cases in, but a second class walk is better than a first class stair climb!!

The location of this hotel is excellent. It is in a very vibrant neighborhood with a lot of great restaurants and different farmers markets a few times a week. It is very close to all forms of public transportation. The staff were all excellent. Very friendly and accommodating. The added breakfast was also very good and convenient. Our flight home was cancelled and delayed by 2 days. Staff immediately did some work to make sure we had rooms for those 2 days. Cannot thank them enough!

Minor quips. Not having an elevator to get to reception on the first floor is inconvenient, especially after spending long days out walking and exploring Paris. Staff was very helpful upon arrival and departure helping with bags. Not complaining about this as I was well aware of that 1st floor stair climb. Also minor the breakfast would be nice if it was a little bit varied day to day. A few days we left out the do not disturb sign as we don't need the room cleaned daily, but they still went in and tidied up. Should really pay closer attention to those signs. Maybe it is a European thing, but slightly odd to leave the key at front desk when going out for the day. AC seems to shut off when leaving for the day, possibly this is done once they know you have left via handing in the key up leaving to save energy. Minor issue as room was very warm up on return on hot days.

Small room, but well located in front of the gare. Staff was very welcoming

    8SonjaPosted on: 7-29-2025

    Tucked away, but very close...

The hotel did have a lift, but it started at the 2nd floor. The staff did help us with bringing up luggage, It was harder than expected.

Loved the view from bed and the little parc infrontLoved the areaLoved the flower tubs infront of the traditional windows Very well placed for metros and busses anywhere Very helpful and lovely staff, helped to carry suitcase & find public transport connections, changed room immediately on asking to one with view instead of courtyard.

Stairs to reception and (tiny) elevator not from ground floor but only starting at 1st floor; no outside seating; hardly space for suitcase; no kettle but coffee nespesso machine

    10Yu-xinPosted on: 7-6-2025

The hotel was very convenient for Gard Montparnasse, there are lots of restaurants around the corner and there are lots of people around. As the entrance of the hotel is facing the park, it was on a quieter street. Taking the trains were also very convenient.

The staff are wonderful. Rooms clean. Location excellent.

For us this was overnight stop between return to Paris by train to Montparnasse station and departure next day from CDG. Room was pleasant and breakfast was good. Neighborhood has good options for dinner and also had the bonus of a colorful Saturday market a block away.
