Even if you ask to pay at the hotel on arrival, they hold the money from your card (which on a revolut card means that the money has left your account). If you refuse, they ask you to pay the room in advance. Never seen that.Room/hotel was on the old side.

The room entrance corridor, and neighbors room doors are very close to each other, and it's noisy.

There was a gap around the entry door - the hall light shone around it.When other residents closed their doors my bedroom wall shook.I could hear everything that was said in the hallways, Men and women coming and going with regularity from 1am onwards.I was scared for my safety as repair to the frame around c the door was obvious that door had been forced open at some stage.

Very helpful and courteous staff and the pre check in attention was very reassuring. Room was comfortable, location was very easy for Metro and it served as a great base to explore Paris.

The hotel staff were wonderful - very friendly and very helpful if we needed anything. Check in - out was a breeze and they even let us store our baggage for a couple of hours after check out so we could roam around before our train departed. The proximity to the Gare de Lyon, shops, and restaurants was a huge plus.
Rooms are tight and a little spendy, but that is to be expected when travelling to Paris.
