Pros +
- The stay here was excellent! The staff were all amazing, and the rooms were very clean and spacious. The location is only an added benfit to everything else being right outside of a metro station and within walking distance to some key landmarks in the city.
- We loved the attention of the staff who were able to solve our problems and to make us feel more comfortable
- Nothing at all, The hotel stinks from the moment you step inside. We checked in and left after just five minutes to check out because the rooms were so disgusting. The hotel refused to give us a refund, and it’s been almost a week. This is a scammy little trash hotel. The room didn’t look anything like the photos, the beds were hard, and the bathroom was disgusting.
Cons -
- The shower drain was full and therefore every time that we showered the bathroom flooded. However, given the price and the location we cannot complain. Plugging our phones in order to charge them was a difficult mission, because the sockets were really high.
- Still waiting for our refund, receptionist really knows how to play his silly little games, After taking our payment, he asked us to call Booking.com to get a refund, which was completely unreasonable. When Booking.com tried to contact the hotel, the receptionist simply said, “I can’t do anything. You have to mail the owner.”The owner, who had sent us a lengthy email explaining how they had offered us an “upgrade” (which we had to pay for ourselves) that we didn’t accept, refused to give us a refund. Such a scam! The receptionist took back the hotel room keys, without giving us an refund, We ended up booking another hotel and staying there for the night, but we still expect our money back. After checking out in the first hotel after only five minutes, which was not as expected at all.

Smelt horrible. The staff were rude. Very outdated. Broken sink, toilet, tiles, fridge stunk!Had a pubic hair on the bed plus the bed was broken
Everything
The staff were excellent – very friendly, polite, and helpful in every way. Communication and service were outstanding. The breakfast was very good, and it was even brought to the room. Considering the price, the hotel offers great value for money. The location is perfect: close to the metro station, near the city center, and surrounded by many restaurants and shops that are open until late at night. The price was very reasonable. After checkout, we accidentally left a lady’s watch in the room, and the staff found it and returned it to us, which shows their honesty and professionalism. You can also leave your luggage at the reception before check-in or after checkout and explore the city freely.Everything was excellent. Highly recommended.
Unfortunately, in the bathroom there were no hooks or hangers for towels or clothes, and there was no towel rack available. This made using the bathroom a bit inconvenient.
Ubication, shower, personal
The location
The bed was hard like sleeping on a floor. They gave us the 4th floor with no elevator. The front door staff almost charged my husband 6900 instead of just 69 euros and did not know English which is not the best for tourists. The bathtub had stains and looked dirty, and the view from the hotel was just other windows and a lot of trash.
The location was perfect; we had everything we needed nearby, considering it’s the city center, and the prices were excellent. From this location, everything is easily accessible—you can reach any part of Paris and visit the most interesting landmarks with ease. The staff were very kind and always ready to help and accommodate every request we had. Thank you
We liked everything; we have no negative impressions!
That it was next to metro station
Terrible facilities , not clean , not worth the money at all !!!
Fantastic & vibrant location right next to a metro station, great restaurants, and the beautiful Porte Saint-Denis landmark.Room was basic, shower was hot, and overall was a great value and I would happily stay again. The staff went above and beyond what was expected during my stay and they certainly are a "Little hotel, with a big heart"
There is little sound insulation so you can hear people walking around outside the room but its not so bad to be a deal breaker, did not bother me at all.
Very friendly staff, good location, all the necessary infrastructure nearby: metro, shops, cafes, restaurants, pharmacies. Not far from the Louvre and Moulin Rouge.
Everything was great.
location is great, and the room we stayed in on the fifth floor was nice. with a good views.
no elevator! which was very difficult but the staff were nice enough to help us with our bags. the entrance tho could use some work. it gives a bad first impression. maybe some renovations.
Only location
Its good only for male travelers for short stay, NO WI FI ,only at reception .hard smell in in hollways, to much dust in room never cleaning it.only changing the towels and sheets after every traveler. No minibar, No hairdrayer, bed eith biiiig hole in the midle ,maybe is from the 1920' .overall very basic.only bed a thats it
Good location
We could not stay. Used to low budget, but… Linen yellow and dirty. Holes in towels. Balcony was inaccessible and full of dirt. We got another hotel same night and never stayed.
The location was perfect with the metro just steps away from the hotel and grocery stores and restaurants very close by. Some of the major attractions were in walking distance ~ 20 - 30 minutes away.We were easily able to take direct public transport from the Charles de Gaulle airport to the hotel. The staff were very friendly.
Things that we didn't like was that the room was small. The bathroom didn't have any hooks for clothes or towels. There was no coffee/tea, microwave/refrigerator. You had to use an ancient key to both open and lock the room. The wi-fi mostly only worked in the reception area.
The location was nice, beautiful view from the window, really nice staff, the bed was very comfortable. Very nice place for the price.
The shower and the ground weren’t the cleanest. Also it was very noisy outside even past 4am but not the hotel’s fault obviously. The windows insulated the sound well, we just slept with open windows because of the warm temperature.
The hotel is at one of the best locations in Paris, you can literally walk everywhere. There is also a metro station right in front of the hotel. The staff were all very friendly and fun to talk to! The 3 single beds room was great for us with a nice view and I don't think you can find cheaper prices than that for the location you get.
The only thing to note is that the 3 single beds room is on the 4th floor and the shower is a bit small, other than that, everything is good.
A lovely traditional small Parissienne hotel. We were a family of 4 (including 2 teens) for 4 nights. Lovely welcome, breakfast tray of pastries (fresh from bakery nearby) and hot and cold drinks brought at requested time to our room each morning. No a.c. but fans kept room cool enough, balcony with view of street, super location for metro to explore further afield and plentiful nearby eateries. Great recommendations for a variety of things in city from hosts. Personal, friendly service, the warm welcome and chats at reception felt like coming home at the end of our sightseeing - true gem!
The hotel is close to the metro station and lots of restaurants and stores around. The staff are nice and let us leave our baggage even after check out time.
The hotel itself is pretty old but so mare many buildings in the area.
The staff were so kind and friendly, i felt safe and well looked after by Sonia and her team. There’s no lift, but they happily carried my heavy case right to the top floor! Breakfast was lovely, an added bonus!
