- Arlington, who checked us in was very helpful and the restaurant he recommended was wonderful.
- Attractive/clean lobby area, very clean room, comfortable bed, and a good sized recently remodeled bathroom with tub and separate walk-in shower. Conveniently located next to the Gare Saint-Lazare train station.
- Very clean ,very convenient location. Also cozy and warm during the winter
Cons -
- The walls were so thin that we could hear e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. It was awkward and uncomfortable. The hotel is pretty outdated, moreso than the pictures portray. It is also much further away than we realized, but with metro and bus, it was very doable.
- The hotel is old it needs renovation, the lift is soo small , and the theme colors in general.Noise isolation is almost zero.
- We would like that slippers were available. Better tea and coffee. There wasn't any fridge. Bath was a little cold, so we used it as fridge to keep some drinks cold ?

The location is nice, close to many stations and right next to saint lazarre station which is a big one with so many stores, the room is spacious for one person, beds are so comfortable,,staff are helpful

The location is perfect. Next to a Metro station. The room was clean. Staff were nice. We didn't face any issue during two nights stay. There were some small croissant at the lobby. They were delicious.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Paris. The location was perfect, with transportation easily accessible everywhere, making it convenient to reach key spots around the city. The reception staff were welcoming and very helpful, which made the check‑in experience smooth and pleasant. Our room was clean and well‑maintained, with a wide toilet that added to the comfort of the stay. The Wi‑Fi connection was reliable. Overall, the combination of excellent location, great service, and comfortable amenities made my stay in Paris truly enjoyable.
Location. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel. 24hr reception available.
You can hear the noise from other rooms.
The location is very convenient. A train station, grocery store, and Starbucks are all within close proximity.
We contacted reception late at night because we were unable to sleep due to persistent noise. The message we sent was polite and reasonable. We did not accuse a specific guest, and we simply asked for assistance while requesting that no one knock on our door.Instead of receiving help, we received a response that was dismissive, condescending, and inappropriate. The staff member repeatedly invalidated our experience and defended another guest rather than addressing the concern. "He certainly did not move any furniture or luggage because he’s checked in since Monday ! and he certainly didn’t speak loud with anybody else because he’s alone" was exactly what was said to us. At no point was there an attempt to resolve the issue or show understanding. We were also told: "If you can not bear any noise which can be considered as normal in a hotel, maybe it’s time to search for another type accommodation than hotels next time you will travel."There is a complete lack of professionalism and basic hospitality within this hotel. Expecting to sleep at night in a hotel is not unreasonable. Suggesting that guests should avoid hotels altogether if they experience noise is unacceptable.I would highly advise against staying at this hotel.
The location is good, next to the metro hub, many supermarkets, restaurants and cafes. The bed linen was clean and the bathroom is very big.
Some of the staff are not that polite. Check in was sharp at 15:00 and they didnt check in even 30 mins earlier. They close the door even at 17:00 and you need to ring the bell every time coming back to the hotel. The bed has wheels and was moving even with my small moves. The pillows are very soft. The breakfast is very basic and can be boring after some days. Eggs option is limited to scrabble eggs only.
The location of the hotel is truly amazing probably the best part of the entire stay. Gare St-Lazare is literally a 2-minute walk away, with Line 14 taking you directly to Orly Airport, and the RER A also just a couple of minutes away. Les Grands Magasins (Printemps, Galeries Lafayette) are very close, and there are plenty of nearby cafés, shops, and amenities. The hotel itself is a bit old in terms of style and décor not modern but it does have a lift to all floors. The reception is available 24/7, but you are required to leave your room key at the front desk every time you go out, which may be inconvenient for some guests. The rooms are on the small side, and the corridors leading to them are quite narrow, but overall the location makes up for many of these points.
As with many hotels in Paris, the soundproofing is mediocre. You can easily hear people talking in nearby rooms and doors slamming in the hallways. The rooms are on the small side, and the corridors leading to them are quite narrow, but overall the location makes up for many of these points.
The location is great. It is just across from st-Lazare station. There are lots of cafe and restaurants around.
Rooms are very small and spartan. The bathroom was good sized with both a shower stall and bathtub.
Easy location to find near the train station. The room was very large! The bathroom and shower were a nice size too. Everything was clean and the staff were helpful.
Very friendly and helpful staff, close to metro and the city center, comfortable
A bit of an “old furniture” smell in the hallway, breakfast could have more choices.
Perfect location across from St Lazar transportation hub. Train, metro, taxi and uber adjacent to the hotel.
No complaints
The bed was as hard as nails but the cleanliness was top notch. Good location for moving around Paris. Pleanty of local restaurants to suit all palattes.
Bed could have been softer. Fortunately my wife carries her 2" sponge.
L’Ouest Hôtel is in an excellent location — walking distance to Galeries Lafayette and many central Paris attractions. The price is reasonable for the area. That said, the hotel feels outdated. Rooms are small, and the breakfast buffet was below average with limited options. It’s a decent choice if you prioritize location over comfort, but don’t expect anything modern or luxurious.
Rooms are small and facility is outdated.
The location of the hotel is pretty great; there are few nice restaurants in walking distance to it. The room was clean and a decent size; not big, but definitely not too small either.
The elevator broke down on the AM of our second day there; given that our room was on the 5th floor, walking 10 flights of stairs a few times a day is not fun at all, especially after walking the city throughout the entire day. No notice was given either, and we left the premises without it being fixed.
The location is excellent. Rooms are small. Lift was not working but good option for short stay with limited luggage.
Nothing specific.
The location was amazing and the hotel amenities were good. You can store your luggage before and after check-in and you have the use of a washroom and a shower too!
It’s a very simple hotel in that there are no extras such as complimentary shampoo and conditioner or bigger towels. For me this was not a problem but others may not like this.
Great location, being right at Saint Lazare Metro and train. Excellent freshly pressed orange juice with breakfast!
