Location is pretty good near busses and Bastille metro stop.

Under bed was so gross and dirty dead bugs, huge dust balls - never cleaned. Soap dispenser in shower was broken. Room was weirdly shaped and tiny hard to move around.

    Location

Price and star level are too high. No A/C is a pretty big detriment to enjoying the room. Plumbing was a bit dodgy.

The location is the main thing this hotel has going for it. The tepid welcome sets you up for the lacklustre room and decor. Clean and adequate is the best description ... I’m surprised this place has its third star!

Sullen, indifferent service. Unimaginative, cheap and tasteless decor.

    Location

One of the front desk people is just plain rude. The other two were fine.

    4LindaPosted on: 5-20-2019

    Location was superb.

Small rooms, sunken mattresses, very thin walls, very poor shower, many problems with not working electrical outlets, no shampoo or conditioner provided, heating/air condition system unstable.

I loved the location and the fact that it was quiet (while still being close to busy roadways). The staff was quiet but helpful when I needed them. The rooms are definitely TINY but I expected this. Our room was clean. WIFI worked perfectly.

I wish there was an outlet on both sides of the bed.

Cute rooms and friendly staff. Walk to Notre Dame and plenty of restaurants and cafes.

    8StephenPosted on: 8-16-2018

Bathroom was clean, not much mold.

Kinda small for 2 people w luggage. Easy access to restaurants, cafes.

My room was right off the garden. Beautiful.

Very nice room and general decor throughout. Lift useful as we were in 3rd floor.Very nice to have a welcome bottle of red wine in the room as well as a fridge and tea/coffee making .The best thing was the location. Just off Place de la Bastille/ metro and Île de St Louis and île de cité walking distance. The nearest main road Rue St Antoine had everything you need , cafes, nice restaurants , small shops.

Staff were not very welcoming the first day as our room was not ready and when we came back 45minutes later no one was at reception. Also no notification when the WiFi was down on the second day. But the man there for check out was very nice.

We stayed at this hotel and because of the value , we were able to book two rooms. The rooms are small to share. The location is fantastic and I slept like a rock! Best bath tub with plentiful hot water ! Love Paris ! Would stay again .

Rooms were a bit tight but that’s to be expected!

Beds were comfortable; location to cafes, metro, Seine river, and convenient stores was great; shower worked well; Staff was friendly enough. We didn’t have the breakfast so cant comment on that.

If you’re looking for a cute, quaint, spacious room and hotel with character, this was definitely not that.

Terrible hotel writ ups were not accurate

It was a filthy hotel and room. We refused to stay And left

Located in an ideal neighborhood. You can easily walk to many tourist attractions.

There is no bolt on the bedroom doors for added security.

    10DavidPosted on: 1-11-2026

The hotel is superbly located for ease of access to the major sights of Paris while also having an array of well-priced bistros and restaurants on its doorstep. There were certainly few frills to the hotel but it was perfectly clean and comfortable - we didn't require anything more.

The rooms are not large: the space between the foot of the bed and the wall was tight, but that is not really much of a problem. Who spends time in a hotel room anyway?

    8MballPosted on: 1-9-2026

We were welcomed by a very friendly man who spoke English and was extremely helpful and kind. Our room was near the courtyard and required climbing a short flight of about eight stairs. We experienced no noise at night, aside from a couple occasionally using the courtyard (smoking area), which was not an issue for us.The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was a great size with amazing water pressure, and we appreciated the thoughtful courtesy items provided. There was plenty of helpful information available near the reception desk. The train station was less than an eight-minute walk away, and we were able to get everywhere we needed using Bastille Station. The surrounding area felt safe and convenient. The hotel was secure and safe where it was locked during night hours and only guests could access it.
