Montparnasse Daguerre

The location is great! Tons of great cafes within walking distance. Easy access to the Metro. Fantastic neighborhood that isn't as hectic.

The size of the room is pretty small--even by european standards and it is totally outdated but not in a charming way. I found it pretty consistent that hotels were confused on whether we had paid for breakfast. Which was REALLY frustrating.

It’s close proximity to the meteor, the restaurants etc.

Good location on the rue Daguerre, run market street with easy walk to restaurants and other areas

The bathroom had very old hair dryers that barely work, and the shower head would not stay in a spot that would actually be useful to take a shower (either it twisted to the side or you had to hold it) so it was not easy to wash and dry your hair.

The showers can be a bit tight, but that’s really reaching to find anything that’s a con rather than a pro!

My room was tiny and unpractical.The bathroom had a shower and a toilet separated from the room. The sink was in the room.The shower was tricky to use because the water would leak outside to the room if the shower door was not close completely. Large person please abstain!There was no closet to hang my jacket or raincoat. There was as a desk in a tiny corner space that could not be used in the absence of a chair.The bed for two persons could be really accessed on one side. In a few words I have seen small rooms but this was the tiniest room I have seen in a 3 stars hotel

Staff was helpful and someone was available 24 hours. Location is on a lovely little side street and easy to walk and save area. Nice restaurants and shops on the street also. About 15 min easy walk from main train station that I took from Southern France. Beautiful view from my room. Comfy bed.

Baseboards in my room needs a redo.

Great location, clean ...

Very small elevator stops only at the staircase intermediate landings; not at the floors. So a far bit of effort lugging your bags to the rooms.

My room was perfect. Small but cozy. The bathroom was great and the shower was excellent. Good water pressure and easy to use. Everyone at the front desk was warm and helpful. And the breakfast was the best way to start the day and quite affordable. In terms of the Metro, I was walking distance to multiple stops. Easy!

Great location, very clean, and nice helpful staff. The room was small, but the bathroom was a nice size, the air conditioning worked well, and the large window opened.

The wifi wasn’t great, and there were not enough plugs and the plugs were in very inconvenient locations (underneath the desk and bedside tables).

Old character residence feel

Small rooms, small beds

Friendly receptionists. Located in nice area.

Spiral stairs. Smallest elevator ever. Elevator was not working at the time of the check-out, so we have to carry our luggage from the third floor. According to receptionists, management sometimes disable elevator between 11 AM and 1 PM. I guess, they want to make their guests experience at the check-out, unpleasant. I would not recommend this hotel.

Tricky stairs

Liked to location. On a side road away from all the noise of the and we could walk to restaurants and cafes, as well as a farmer’s market.

Very small room! Had a twin for 2 people! Very small but great A/C

close to metro and close to a bakery

well when we got there the room wasn't ready we already knew that was going to happen which is fine. but we were so jetlag that i fell asleep on the couch in the lobby and when we finally were able to check in the receptionist informed me that the coffee was free in the lobby in would have been nice f she told me that while we waited on a different day we asked the receptionist if he could communicate to the taxi driver to take us as close to the Louvre as he could without sitting in traffic instead he told the taxi driver something different and the driver took us to the opera house. we asked that our room not be cleaned as it was small and we didn't want staff going through our things (as i had a bad experience once before in France) to come one day to our bed being mad. and i didn't like that when we did check out the receptionist didn't ask us how or if we enjoyed our stay ...
