Hotel Bellevue Montmartre

We had to return the key each time we left - which was inconvenient as we had to wait in line to retrieve it - regardless of the hour we returned - in order to access our room

Yes. No one told us we had to pay ¿50 as a deposit. One of the staff trying to explain but she couldn't find anything about it. In fact none of the customers knew about it and we felt very uncomfortable with this. It should be on the website!

Easy to get to, great location, drop off bags before check-in

The location of the hotel was great. It wasn't far from the metro station, and we could walk around Montmarte and visit Sacre Coeur. The hotel was relatively clean, and staff was friendly.

They gave us a double room instead of two single bedroom. The room was so tiny that we didn't have much space to walk around. The bathroom was tiny and narrow, and the shower was so small that I had to use the shower off of the hook.

Absolutely nothing. We stayed just long enough to use the wifi to book another hotel. Could not run away fast enough.

This place is an absolute craphole. I cannot believe you associate your company with it. It smelled from the moment we walked off the elevator. The hallway looked unsafe. The room stank. Looked like murder and or suicide was committed there.

No, The hotel was very decent and the price was fair.this is the type of hotel that is mainly used for sleep. It's very well located you have many restaurants and attractions within walking distance.

The location and staff were the best.

We had a great stay. The hotel is conveniently located, close to both main attractions and grocery shops. The metro stations are also in a walking distance. The room has a private bathroom inside and there are a water cooker with cups so it’s possible to have a coffie (and a bite of a store-bought sandwich) before setting off in the morning. It was clean and there was room service on a daily basis (making beds, changing towels and even washing your dishes!)In genaral I can honestly recommend this place.

Yes, Paris buildings are old and rooms are small, I get that. But this place was simply filthy. The bathroom smell was disgusting, honestly like a morgue. The vents/grilles were visibly dirty too.Housekeeping walked into the room in the morning even though we had not checked out yet, which is completely unacceptable.No power outlets next to the bed either.

Ideally located in the heart of Montmartre! You'll be just steps away from the stunning Sacré-Cœur, with a supermarket conveniently located across the street. Plus, Rue des Abbesses is only a 5-minute walk away. Don't miss out!

I didn’t like anything in this hotel.

Avoid this hotel!We threw the towels on the floor so they would replace them, and they never gave us new ones! I even found my cosmetics thrown on the floor out of spite, just because we left the towels down! We went to the reception at night to ask for towels, and one of them was dirty! The next day, we put the towels on the floor again because they were already dirty and needed to be changed, but once again they didn’t replace them! We also ran out of toilet paper, and they didn’t put any more! On the day of check-out, they asked us at reception if everything was okay, and when we said it was average, he just smiled! As we had left our suitcases there to pick them up before leaving for the airport, the receptionist allowed three strangers into the hotel because they wanted to use the bathroom. These people were standing right in front of our luggage! Our question is: can anyone just walk into the hotel? We took our suitcases and left without anyone even asking if they were ours! No security at all and absolutely not trustworthy.

Cleanliness, could be a bit cleaner and paint outdated in rooms.

Excellent location - very close to 3 Metro stations, Sacré Coeur, restaurants and shops. Helpful staff. Quiet. Very good for the price.

It is very slippery getting in and out of the shower. Otherwise all was fine.

The location was excellent for us. We were particularly interested in visiting Monmartre.

I have mixed feelings about the location. It feels like it's right on the border between a very charming area and a much rougher one. On one side, you're close to the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, surrounded by a lively tourist zone with plenty of restaurants, shops, and a generally safe atmosphere. However, the other side can feel quite unsafe, even during the day. There are many homeless individuals, visible drug activity, and intoxicated people, which creates a constant sense of unease. At times, it feels like theft could happen at any moment. I strongly recommend avoiding arrival via the Barbès–Rochechouart metro station. Instead, use the Anvers station for a safer and more pleasant route to the hotel
