Hotel Design Sorbonne

Good location in Paris. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Pleased they stored our luggage while touring Paris. Bathroom and shower were okay.

The elevator was so tiny - only one person + a suitcase. Breakfast was expensive for the offerings. No air conditioning - it wasn't turned on yet for the season.

The hotel is very cozy and the staff very friendly and helpful. The room is quite small, but has it all. The room is silent and the location is very central.

The bathroom is very small, but fine if you are alone.

Close to the Sorbonne and many cafes and restaurants as well as major sites. The staff were all bilingual and tolerated my attempts to speak French.

The very annoying swinging door from the kitchen to the breakfast area. The frequent coming and going of the staff creates so much noise which is so loud and disturbing to one’s peace’s start of the day.

Excellent location. Central to the city. University area just a block or two from tourist area. Street quiet at night, and drapes darken room. Bed adequately comfortable.

Bathroom had poor lighting when using mirror.

Staff were very helpful and friendly!! They were prompt to assist if we needed anything and made us feel welcome. Walking distance to many Paris attractions as well as a variety of good restaurants.

Staff is incredibly helpful. Brought us a blanket in the niddle of the night when we were cold and a water kettle upon request.

This hotel had the best air conditioning that I have experienced in Paris. That made the room very comfortable. The shower was great and the bed was very good for a Paris hotel.. It has an elevator. The location is great--in the best part of the 5th. The breakfast buffet is typical. Meats, cheeses, yogurt, boiled eggs, pastries, cereal, and a coffee machine that gave 6 types of coffee. The price for breakfast ($17) was reasonable when you compare to grocery store prices for the same items.

No mini fridge in the room.

Location was good and the room was pleasant and clean. The shower was an actual shower which was great although tiny. The breakfast was better than expected with many choices and friendly staff.

The hotel couldn't accommodate early check in and the room wasn't ready until a few minutes after check in time. The room itself was smaller than what we had experienced in Paris and the bathroom was so tiny you could barely turn around. You definitely couldn't get dressed in the bathroom so if you have teens or someone who wants privacy it is difficult. Luckily we were only there for a night before moving on.

Directly next to the Sorbonne university. Close to all the major sightseeing spots. The room was very clean and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful with questions we had. They also kept our luggage during the day after checking out.

The room was a bit small, especially the bathroom, (see photos) and the shower doors had gaps on bottom and sides causing the floor to flood. This needs to be improved. Also it was very difficult to put in and take out contact lenses as there was no space on the sink. Also brushing teeth you had to be careful not to hit your head on the shelf above.

Great location. Although small, bathroom had great water pressure & plenty of hot water. Rooms clean & the hotel had a small lift.Staff were great! It’s a very good value.

Location was good and room was clean. The bed was comfy.

The bathroom and shower were tiny. Kept banging my elbows. Towels were tiny. No tea and coffee making facility. Hair dryer very poor.

Room was about average size for Paris. Shower was larger than normal which was great. Lovely and comfortable. So close to many cafes and restaurants. Will stay again.

Lovely room. Very helpful staff. Coffee in the room! Only issue was not a lot of power sockets. Great location.

This is a nice hotel in the center of Paris. The room has everything you need, a good breakfast. The hotel is 400 metres from Notre Dame Cathedral. Everything was fine. Thanks!
