Hôtel Charing Cross

I highly recommend this hotel. The location is absolutely perfect—truly top, top, top. The staff were very friendly, especially Salar, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. The metro station is right outside the hotel, and there is also a bus stop just outside. Most of the main tourist attractions are within walking distance. One of the best hotels in the heart of Paris. Galeries Lafayette is just a short walk away. There are many cafés and restaurants right outside the hotel. The rooms are cleaned every single day.

The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere felt comfortable and welcoming.The room was also cleaned very well every day, which made my stay pleasant.

If I had to mention one thing, the bathtub stopper didn’t work properly, so I couldn’t fill the tub and could only use the shower.

* Limited breakfast: there were no hot dishes (omelet or scrambled eggs) as shown in the photo.* You need to return the key card every time you leave the hotel.

Location

It was marked as 3 star…..the room i stayed was with one small window opening into pipes column. The carpets were stained and breakfast was very very basic….none of these are 3 star

Disappointing

The hotel’s illuminated advertisement was directly in front of my window, and the curtains did not close properly, so the room was very bright at night. The carpets were also very dusty. Additionally, I didn’t like that I had to hand over my room key in order to get a coffee after checking out.

The bathroom shower didnt have much grip and the breakfast could improve but overall great value price-quality.

Exceptional service! I forgot my headphones at the hotel after my stay. When I called them, they were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to send them back to me. Truly outstanding service.The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The hotel is also perfectly located for a city trip.Highly recommended!

The room was small but comfy, literally in the center of the city. The hotel location is excellent (the metro is within 2 mins walking, all the famous tourist sights are also near enough). Hotel staff was great, tasty breakfasts.

no kettle in the room and the air pressure coming from vents though the closed bathroom door was annoying and cold.

Paris is the best yet this hotel does not reflect the city image!!

The whole experience is frustrating and anxious starting with deducting the whole amount from my credit without any approval from my side after approving to pay once i reach the hotel and this after sending a request to see if it is possible for free cancelation, reaching the hotel and been asked to pay again while amount was deducted, to start my nightmare. Staying 4 days in a room where the is no light to enter, dark and doom day and night, no fresh air to enter where i got sick for the whole 4 days, been asked every time to keep my key on the reception or i will pay for it if lost and when asked how much it will cost no one has answer, team who is ready to fight always and to cut communication short.Even after that they started calling me to pay city tax and when i told rhem this was not mentioned in the booking the amount i paid mentions all is included and u deducted the whole amount the answer was simply if u dont pay we will deduct it from ur card on booking!!Alot of stories more to tell, but i’ll get enough with those To end saying expensive hotel with zero customer service and client relation.

Small room...but it is Paris

It was well located, near the Place des Vosges and it was relatively inexpensive.

The room was tiny. We had to breathe in to pass each other and the bath was really a half-sized bath. The explanation of how to find the nearest parking garage wasn’t clear and it took us an hour to find the parking

Extremely small room, the hold the whole accommodation amount WHILE we have paid already in advance through booking and they wanted to freeze additional amount exactly the same, so I have to wait another 1-2 weeks in order to have my money back for totally unknown reason!

Clean, and good location

Nice, small and tidy room. Convenient location, in the centre and close to public transport. Good breakfast.

My room 602 (last floor) was generally ok, but there was quite a noise from lift and its engine. Among other, it woke me up at 5 AM, when another guest was leaving, and I couldn't sleep anymore that morning. When I reached the reception, there was no empathy nor any try to solve the problem or make up, so I decided to complain officially via Booking and to leave this comment too. You'd better invest into repairing the lift or limiting the noise in another way.

Fabulous location. Close to restaurants and shopping centres. A short walk to the train station. The room size was okay. The shower and toilet was more than adequate.

Location is superb just infront of the station and the opera area is a walking distance You have tons of restaurants cafes and boulagerie around you.Staff were helpful and nice

They very strict on the check in and check out policy times.Yet you get to keep your luggage in the luggage room

Incredible locationTight room which is typical for Paris but very comfortable and has everything you need.They were very nice in receiving our luggage a day before we came and keeping it in storage

Location was accessible to trains, city buses and airport bus.

There was no available complimentary dental kit to hotel guests. It would be nice if the door where ramp is available can be used so trolleys can be moved easily to and from the hotel entrance as closed during our stay.
