Hôtel Richard

È vicino la metro e quasi al centro, ha bisogno di 10 minuti verso il centro. Il Signore è molto gentile.

Solo che sono scontenta un po¿ per la pulizia della stanza.

The whole process at the hotel was very much hassle free. I needed to change my room because of noise issues and heat at one point, which was made possible by the staff.

There was a kettle and a microwave in my room, but no cups or dishes. The bathroom was not super clean when I arrived and the walls are extremely thin, so I heard people in the other rooms snore at night.

The sink is so big in the bathroom, it is hard to get on and off the toilet, the shower door was missing, needs shampoo, 2 cups, 2 plates and 2 sets of utensils.

The room was big and they let me pick the one I wanted, they are all configurated differently. Next to an underground station. The heater worked really well.

The covers weren't real covers, they where sort of synthetic sofa covers you had to layer on top of a sheet and I had to ask for a second one because it wasn't thick enough. And the sheet have hair in them and also found one on my pillow. The sheets are not clean. The boiler doesn't stop boiling until you unplug it and I burned my finger on the button because even the plastic handle heats up. One of the hangers had hair stuck to it. Since the shower not in a bathroom, the heat isn't retained in it and it is cold in there.

Nothing , just the location the hotel is good really reachable to the subway and bus .

The hotel was really dirty , the tissue with blood was everywhere, and the blanket, Pillows were not clean . I asked the desk why our room is so dirty, he told me I will send someone to clean your room , but our room has never been cleaned .

It was a good place; I was able to sleep well, and I could store my luggage before check-in time. The bedroom was clean.

Location is near metro station.A few average restaurants, bars and shops located nearby.The room despite its tiny size has a fridge, table and microwave.

The bathroom door in room 44 was broken and could not be easily closed.The kettle in the room was cheapest and of worst quality so its not safe to use.The street where hotel is located is not so quiet - at night drunks and noisy people are common.

Great value for the price. Nice and close to the metro. As long as you are ok with basic amenities it’s fine. If you want all the bells and whistles go spend more somewhere else. We had a room with privet bathroom, nice and clean.

Great value! The room was small, but clean. It had a small table, a chair, a sink and a shower. Exactly what I needed and nothing more. Everything was surprisingly clean and relatively modern (new curtains, recent double-paned windows, very white walls, no mold on the tiles, etc.), despite the low price of the room. This was by far the best value I have found in Paris.

The shower was very small, and so was the bathroom. As an average sized male, I barely fit in either. If you are a big person, this might be an issue for you. Also, my room was on the 5th floor with no elevator. If you can't make it up 5 flights of stairs, you may consider contacting the hotel in advance to book a room on a lower floor.

Bathroom was really dirty; the dirt in the sink and the toilet wasn't stains, we could get it out with some wet tissues and soap. And you might wonder why we did the cleaning, it's because when we told the reception that our room was dirty and we needed cleaning they told us it was ''not possible''. Why am I paying when I am the one who is cleaning? And the blanket had white stains on it god knows what was that so we didn't touch it.Also the room walls are so thin that you can wake up at any hour at night with your neighbor's noises.

The gentleman at the front desk was very kind, the room was clean and nice, and the location in Paris is very close to the metro, and by extension the whole city. Great value! We even got upgraded last minute.

The wifi wasn’t so stable

It's very cheap for the central Paris. I think there is all to it. It's very close to subway, so location is pretty convenient.

The room was extra small. It's extremely hot with no AC or fan. You absolutely have to keep window open at all time, otherwise you would be toasted in your room, even though the two days that I was in Paris, it was rainy and chilly.

Very clean, room was quite simple but had everything I needed. Felt super confortable, staff was friendly and accomodating. Location was perfect for me, I could reach everything I needed on foot.Hotel is located in a quiet street, not scetchy or anything and I personally felt totally safe as a woman, just thought I'd add it in case its important to anyone.

About 5 minutes walk from the subway station. The room had a shower. The staff was friendly and the area was relatively safe.

I knew it but there is no elevator and when someone uses the stairs, it echoes throughout the room so earplugs are a must. The curtains don't close properly so you need to hold them down with something. The toilet is shared with other people as stated and the lock is broken.

The staff were friendly and helpful.

No AC, so the room got quite hot

Upon our arrival at Hotel Richard, we were kindly welcomed and greeted by Richard himself. As we came and left the hotel throughout our stay, we discovered that there were actually quite a few Richards (5+). All this is to say that the hotel was extremely well-staffed, with no shortage of Richards. The layout of our room was extremely unique-- Curious if anyone knows who the architect of this building is, as he was extremely creative in the formation of this hotel. It was actually possible to brush your teeth at the sink while still sitting in bed! It was also possible to watch your partner shower from the comfort of your bed, which was truly special. And I especially loved how when you stepped out of the shower, it would push the curtain slightly open, revealing your naked body to the Parisians outside-- Truly the French experience. All in all, I can't say enough words or sentences about Hotel Richard. It is a place I will think about for years to come. Who thought that a place where people go to sleep could become much more.
