- It wasn’t clean. We stayed at the hotel for one week and the sheets and towels were not changed even once. The room was never cleaned. THERE WERE BED BUGS! We have bites all over our bodies. The shower cabin is very narrow and there is no place at all to put your things. The toilet is very small and uncomfortable. The bathroom is tiny. The room is small. We reported the bed bug problem — they denied it and said they would check and get back to us, but no one ever mentioned it again. I absolutely do not recommend this place — don’t waste your time, money, or health!
- This place is very bad. There were cockroach’s all over the bathroom. The place is crawling with bed bugs. The floor was dirty, like you can’t walk bare foot in your room. The room was very cold when I first entered. The bathroom was so dirty!!!!!!!!!Racist staff. Very antagonising and rude. The worst place I’ve ever stayed. EVER
- Rude and racist hotel manager dirty room no running cold water i would like a refund as i left the hotel two days early

The location is good, the room was in a good condition and clean, the staff were very helpful and the availability of leaving my luggage there while I went out on my last day after checking out was very useful.
The bathroom was very small.
Very close to the railway station and restaurants
Very poor in cleanliness , the hotel Needs more cleaning
Location of the property is good.
Cleanliness is a mess. Room was dirty, small coacroche i saw on the bedside (I killed it and kept it to be seen). Bathroom smelly no proper ventilation.
The staff where great..Provided us with assistance to get around.Took our bags up the stairs to our room.
Shower was a tight squeeze. Not suitable for a large person.
Location was okay quite not in center but in city.
I guess the price I paid 70 euro per night for two people. Hotel was fine in that price. Near Parkplatz was helpful costing 28 euro for whole day.
it is near all the establishment and metro
do not have elevator to load the luggage up to the room
The room was small but comfortable, the bed was incredibly soft and nice, and the owners were friendly and delightful. Previous reviews give the impression that this place is horrible, but it is untrue! It is just an old building, run with love by a family, and whose fittings don't look like a chic modern hotel. Everything was very clean and cosy. The lighting in the room was particularly good, especially as overhead light kills me immediately. The location was perfect: lovely area, good food and nice things to see, and very easy walk to the centre of town, or metro to anywhere you like. There were no bedbugs anywhere!!!! I am a magnet for insects so if there was even one in the building, I would have discovered it immediately. But no: it looks like the hotel has replaced all the room carpets and soft furnishings from previous photographs. The price for the stay, considering the location and how comfortable it was, couldn't have been beaten. We will definitely return!
We would have loved a long mirror in the room anywhere, but we are vain. It is not vital. But it would have been nice. There was no lift and the stairs were steep: if you struggle with stairs, you will find this hotel a challenge.
Great location , nice staff, good breakfast , great beds
Nothing to not like
Location
They cleaned only 2 days out of 7. The towels werent very clean. They only provide 1 soap for a week (mini soap) and nothing else.
The windows and the decorations in the room where really pretty it definitely brought out the Paris vibes !
There was only one towel and the shower was small and a bit dirty
Simple and easy to check in/ out.
Very small and basic, still far away from the city. The advertised photos looked more luxurious
Bad experience with bedbugs in...
I had terrible experience due to bed bugs in the room, I woke up with massive bedbugs in the bed, which has bitten me all over. They were unable to change rooms as they were full and I had to wait until next day to move rooms. Even after that the damage was done and I had to go Apotheke, get tablets, creams etc to recover as fast as I can before leaving for Berlin. Very disappointing.
* Old building, but reasonably clean room* Close to metro station
* Staff did speak little to no English, which wasn't very helpful.* Incredibly noisy street all day AND during the night.
It was just cramped, not clean, smelled damp, and no noise isolation
Very comfortable room, staff were very accomadating when we asked for a couple of extra things. For a 2 star hotel it was a very enjoyable stay.
The shower room was a bit small
Good location. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable but the overpowering smell of cigarette smoke, from reception through to the rooms, was very unpleasant. As non smokers, it felt as though we had been smoking all night, and were relieved to be getting out into fresh air in the morning.
The plumbing is bad. When in the shower the water does not go down the drain. It turns into a pool which covers the bathroom floor up to the door. There is no shelf for toiletries although there is space to put one up. It's inconvenient having nowhere to put toiletries when the floor is flooded. None of the electrical facilities worked. The plugs are a danger. The wires are loose and neither the hairdryer or heater worked.
Great location, near lots of cafes and restaurants, near the Moulin Rouge and near a subway station. Friendly, helpful staff. Pleasant, comfortable room with plenty of space. Pleasant decor. Street is quiet enough. You'll enjoy your stay here.
Top floor means walking up a few flights of stairs, but not the end of the world. No air conditioner for hotter weather, but radiator for heating (fairly standard). On our first day we told housekeeping not to worry that day, but they didn't come back on subsequent days - I'm sure this would have been addressed if we'd asked, but we didn't really need it anyway. Great hotel, don't be dissuaded :)
