Hotel Whistler - Gare du Nord

Ideal location to catch train to the airport.

The room was so hot, couldn't change aircon setting and thankfully we could open the windows to let fresh air in. Very stuffy room and for the price we paid, I'd expect a lot better.

Location is excellent. When we got out of the train station it was very easy to find. Just across the street. So convenient.

Essentially a double room is incredibly small. No hair conditioner so bring your own or buy there. Hardly any place to put clothes so you have to operate out of your suitcase. No fridge so anything we purchased to drink got very hot.

Staff were courteous and helpful, with great air conditioning during extreme heat and a convenient location near public transportation (Pennington station).

Beware it can be little noisy at night due to street activity. The surrounding area also had quite a bit of trash after nighttime activity, although it was cleaned up each morning and the streets were pressure washed.

The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful.

They did I not offer any TV stations in English.

The location of the hotel was perfect. It was right outside of Gare du Nord, which is the equivalent of a Penn Station in NYC or Union Station in Washington D.C. my hotel room was small but I believe it was pretty typical of [boutique]hotel rooms in Paris

Everything about the hotel was perfect, from the staff to the location.

The location was perfect. My intention was to be close to the train station and this was ideal.

Staff wasn¿t very helpful. Unexplained charges. The room was dark and dismal. Just didn¿t feel welcomed.

The rooms were nice, comfortable and clean. The staff was lovely and helpful.

I felt like I should be home by dark... not sure I had want to roam the neighborhood afterwards.

Great little find! 1 minute walk from the train station. Nice little hotel. Nice comfortable foods. Nice staff and good value.

A lovely hotel, ideal for travel from Gare du nord . Very nice rooms perfect for a short stay in Paris

Receptionist were very good and the location was very convenient for me.

1. The room/corridor smelt cigarette all through. 2. There was no information on when the housekeeper will come to do cleaning therefore I had an incident of one house keeper knocking the door and after seeing me inside she made faces communicating something in French but I couldn't hear. From her face, she wasn't delighted. 3. The hotel emailed my invoices which is very good but they addressed me as "sir" in both emails. I replied and asked them to correct but no one has taken the initiate. This is very disrespectful.

This hotel exceeded expectations- booked it as it was close to Eurostar for the return journey, and if you are looking for a super clean and comfortable base while you explore Paris - this is it! Added bonus pillows to die for.
