Villa Royale Montsouris

The hotel has a nice breakfast and was located near where I needed to be. The area is safe and quiet. The bed was comfortable.

The bath/shower in my room was incredibly awkward.The shower was a mess with a lot of mold in the grout. I found the shower to be difficult to use. I was in Paris for work and stayed 5 nights in the hotel. I would not be as bothered for 1 night.

Room very well decorated in an oriental style. Free tea at the reception. Friendly staff.

I can’t really name anything I didn’t like. I just wish I’d stayed here in my previous visits to this particular location.

Convenient location , very close to subway . Short walk to the coffee shops and nice restaurants , a park right across the street .

Had to wait for about an hour after the supposed check in time until the room was ready , cannot say why there was a delay , but the staff was very courteous and apologetic about it . Also , the room was great - bigger than expected .

Very good value. Well situated, close to Montparnasse station and a few steps from Porte d'Orléans metro station. Quiet, safe and clean neighborhood. Our hotel room was clean and cutely decorated with colorful design.

A very comfortable and clean bed. The perfect place to get a good night’s sleep after a long walk through the streets of Paris.

We had a wonderful stay, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect, only a short walk from metro stop bringing you into the city centre. Would come back again.

Firstly, the rooms are interesting, the deco is shabby chic North African and very nice. The staff are extremely helpful, from the fella who had already started the once daily coffee machine cleaning process but did it all twice in order to make me a coffee in the breakfast room to the wonderful reception staff who looked after an online order I had delivered to the hotel. I would particularly like to mention the receptionist Richard who is exceptional. Finally, the hotel is close to the Parc Montsouris, which is a fabulous place to walk and unwind, and 5 minutes from the metro which can take you to the left bank in about 10 minutes.

I loved the vibe of the hotel, very boujee, giving Aladdin, excellent location within walking distance to a lot of fabulous things and metro. I Especially loved the bathroom, the double was cosy for one person, I was kindly upgraded from a single. Staff were all very helpful and polite. I’ll be back ! Thank you ??

I stayed for 2 nights alone as I came for work to Paris. The hotel is very close to the tube station and convenient. The room was clean and smelled nice even though it was a bit small and the bathroom struggled to keep warm with only one radiator that was time controlled. The bed was comfortable and the area was quiet, slept very well. Breakfast was basic/not much choice, but good quality.

The bed is relatively comfortable. We stayed for 1 night, and it was ok.

The bedsheets felt rather fresh but had very disturbing-looking stains. The door to the bathroom didn’t close all the way. The staff barely spoke French or maybe chose to pretend they didn’t when we cam to ask for a second pillow and a glass of hot water for tea

It was good, although a bit far from getting buses or trains to the center. Staff was friendly.

It was basic, but for the price it was great. I got an upgraded room which was great.

Rooms were uncomfortable, like a grandmother tight house, we chose a double bed , we got 2 beds connected , very uncomfortable, the room was cold, the hairdryer was not functioning

No hot water - rude receptionists

We had a very unpleasant experience for a 4 nights stay mainly due to the staff’s lack of interest. We arrived and saw an announcement that they are unable to provide hot water for the night, unfortunately we had no hot water for THE ENTIRE STAY and when we asked the receptionists about it they all lied and told us that they will fix the issue “tomorrow”, which obviously never happened. When confronted, one of them admitted that they are lying and that we should take a cold shower instead. We were met with an impossible rudeness and a disdainful attitude and no interest in the customer experience. No real solutions were provided, they just did not care enough to call for someone to get it fixed. I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone who wants to enjoy their vacation.Bonus picture with "the view" :)
