- Location! Location! Location!
- Great location in the Marais
- The employees were so nice and willing to help with anything you needed. Such a cute, quaint little hotel. So enjoyed my stay there. Very close to a lot of attractions & shopping and subway!
Cons -
- Technology was not that great (wi-fi).
- You had to give the attendant your key and get it back when you came and went from the hotel
- I should have asked if the breakfast was free because it was not.

The room was very clean, spacious and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was great - we could easily explore Le Marais and get to Notre-Dame as well as many more attractions! I would definitely stay here again.
Great location in Marais with restaurants and shops in the area
Warm inside but we opened the window
Location is perfect -
The room are bare and need some love ! Lobby is so cute but unfortunately the decor stop at the lobby ..
We loved the location and the staff was exceptional - extremely professional, warm, helpful - just delightful! The rooms were a bit small and darkish, but it went with the ambiance of the hotel and was not uncomfortable, so the size did not distract. Plus, with such a great location, we weren't hanging our in the room anyway!
Staff was very kind and welcoming, easy to talk to. Also liked the 24 hour staff at front desk. Also resident dog Poppins!
Allowing food in rooms. Sometimes one just wanted to relax and eat, not have to eat out. I know you can't get food delivered here anymore, but when we picked up food and brought it back we were told we couldn't eat it inside.
We liked Room 51: there was enough space to put two comfortable chairs in.
While there was space in the room, the chairs (3) were regular dining room chairs: something comfortable would make the room even more enjoyable to rest in. It would be nice to be able to use the bath as a shower by adding a shower curtain, but overall the room was nice while simple, the bed was big enough (US Queen size) and the pillows were comfortable. The staff was excellent and very accommodating! We will definitely come back. The location is fantastic (5 min walk) from the Hotel de Ville, right across the street from the National Archives that proved to be extremely interesting. And in the heart of the Marais and close to Centre Pompidou, Forum de Halles, ….
Perfect location in the Marais. Easy walking distance to Louvre, Notre Dame and all the other famous places. Le Marais is Old Paris of the sort that existed before Haussmann flattened it with his grand boulevards. Full of small shops, restaurants, bars and very smartly dressed parisians. Le Vieux Marais is the ideal place to stay in that it reflects everything that makes the Marais Le Marais. The staff are sympa, accueillant and incredibly helpful.
It was all good. Go and stay!
The staff is always very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Of course it is an older hotel so the bathrooms look a bit old but clean
There is nothing that we did not like
Great location. Quiet. Self owned. Local tips for restaurants. Had an adapter for US that we didn’t have. Clean. Pretty. Elevator. Very organized. Concierge.
It’s small. Want to keep your voice low. But that’s Paris! Owner very available.
The gorgeous man at the front desk who greeted us and booked our airport taxi when we left. He is a chess player and very friendly, helpful and elegant.
I didn’t realise the property has no kettle, fridge or bottled water provided. Just two glasses to use with bathroom tap water. These things are basic. There is nowhere nearby to get hot drinks or breakfast as Paris doesn’t open until late in the day. On the first morning when we discovered this, a lovely woman at the desk made us coffee and brought it up to our room, which was very kind as we had declined to order breakfast the night before. We thought there would be cafes open for breakfast before 8.30-9 am. My solution was to order uber eats from restaurants in Paris. However one evening when we were absolutely exhausted from walking all day we decided to order from a lovely restaurant nearby. I spent quite a bit of money and was looking forward to relaxing in the room at the tiny table/desk. However when I went down to collect it, I had to negotiate seriously with one of the desk staff who called the manager to discuss his issue. Apparently my food was likely to be more messy in the room than the croissants and coffee that the hotel can organise (if ordered the night before). Strange…croissants are notoriously messy…The hotel is clean and in a good location. However you cannot even boil a kettle for tea. It’s tap water or nothing at the hotel. Which doesn’t really feel like home or relaxing when you are walking all day long sightseeing!
Great Location Concierge 24hrsElevator
No place to have breakfast (only option available was room service )Twice during our stay we witnessed the host arguing very loud with other guests and being rude and loud with staff .(once at 7 am

The staff are absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful, they gave us very good recommendations for restaurants etc. The location is fantastic and having an elevator was a bonus.
I felt the room was a little small for a superior room and there was a shortage of plugs, also it would have been good to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
Great location in Marais with restaurants and shops in the area
Warm inside but we opened the window
Great location in the Marais section, funky neighborhood vibe with local cafes. Quaint hotel, very helpful staff.
Small room but we spent little time there.
Storage was good.
Not a good location for us. I didn’t realize it is in the gay section of town. Bed was really hard so I couldn’t sleep and my back hurt.
LOVED THE 4TH FLOOR ROOM WITH THE BALCONY. THERE WERE A COUPLE OF DISASTERS, BUT IT WAS ALL FIXED PROMPTLY.
NO MINI BAR, NO COFFEE OR WATER IN THE ROOM.EVERYTHING ELSE WAS AS EXPECTED.
