Hotel Phenix Paris

Overlooked a nice street, and in a nice area

Tiny elevator. Room and bathrooms were small.

We were not able to check in before 3:00 PM, but they allowed us to leave our luggage there while we went to visit other places.

The building is old, but the bathroom is renovated and clean.

Thank you akram for helping us with choosing taxi rather than uber to the airport at 3:00am. Always akram is so decent and supportive.Rooms are spacious, clean and comfy.

The staff and their Hospitality specially the director and Akram and Monsef from the reception and other 2 one girl and one boy but i could not remember the names, they were very helpful and professional.

The wifi was not very well.

It’s next to Arc de Triomphe and there is a metro station right next to the hotel where you can go anywhere from this station.Very safe at night for girls going alone and there is everything needed besides the hotel. The staff was very helpful and kind

The location is near the metro which brings us to all the tourist attractions we need to go. The staff which was soooo patient with us explaining about the metro

Very old property, which was neat but lacked updated amenities, plugs limited, no device chargers, walls very thin

Very accommodating staff operating a modest older hotel with enthusiasm. It was a good value and the location close to the Arc is terrific. I look forward to returning to the Phenix

Location, staff, comfort, and value

Location was great.

I stayed at this hotel for a work trip and had a disappointing experience. I checked in on a Sunday evening and immediately noticed an unpleasant stench in the lobby, as well as plastic covering the floors in the common areas. While my room itself was clean and decent for the price, the hotel’s policies and handling of guests were very concerning.When I went out for dinner, I was told I could not take my room key with me. The receptionist insisted I leave it at the front desk, which made me extremely uncomfortable, especially as a woman traveling alone. I was not given a clear explanation, only that “everyone does this.” Later, when I returned, the main entrance was locked and the receptionist asked only for my room number before handing me the key back—no ID check, no security verification. This seemed unsafe, as anyone could claim a room number and potentially be given access.Overall, I did not feel secure or comfortable during my stay. The cleanliness of the room was acceptable, but the hotel’s strange and unsafe key policy, combined with the poor condition of the common areas, made it a disappointing and unsettling experience.

location perfect

hotel reception locked the front door at 8.30pm for over 20mins while I was wondering if it was closed or under renovation etc. tried calling lots and eventually they came to the door and not so apologetic. no note on door to say why etc. room was next tot he lift and very noisy.

Clean facilities. Room was cozy but not cramped. Fantastic location. Very good price for the area and facilities. Would definitely stay again.

No AC but there was a fan so it was still relatively comfortable for the late summer but mid summer might be tough.

the staff were amazing and loved having them at the front desk 24hours!

No AC, only a fan which would have been fine, but it was super hot in Paris during our stay.

In general it’s good but room is very narrow

The management was very prompt in addressing the concern with our room. They transferred us to the next available room while they fix the room.

Small room, shower very small like being on a cruise ? ship.

The hotel is convenient located next to the train station and also very close to Triumph of Arc. It is very clean and comfortable.

The room has no kettle for boiling water, but I was later informed by the staff at check-out that if they can send you one at request (unfortunately I didn't know during my stay). The room is a bit room but value for money. Overall quite comfortable and meet my expectations.

It’s was in a great location and the staff were lovely and helpful.

The room was a bit squashy, but was clean and tidy.

Excellent location close to many main attractions and metro station. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend and I would book again for my next visit to Paris.

The lift is really small, it fits one person only with a couple of bags and it’s really narrow but that didn’t affect our positive experience overall.

No hot water in the shower, tiny basin, if you would like to book a breakfast better opt for nearby cafes

The hotel locates near Arc de Triomph and near the train station (M2, RER A), which is very convenient to move around Paris as well as travelling to the CDG airport. The double room with queen bed was perfect. Nice view from the room’s balcony. Lots of food options near the hotel
