Hotel Opéra d'Antin

For the price and a 3 star in paris this hotel was great. Full sized bed and bath. These 2 aspects made our stay enjoyable. The staff was friendly but not anything speacial.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, close to everything, and makes all landmarks walkable for you. 2 minutes from the gallery Lafayette, 5 minutes from the opera , location is busy and safe, many restaurants and available around . Staff are nice and helpful. The Wifi was very good too and the hotel was overall clean.

The room was extremely small to the extent that you can not move inside if you put your luggage on the ground . I felt so uncomfortable. AC is not working, and the room and the whole hotel is extremely warm and smelly all the time. You need to open the windows all the time for some fresh air. There is no mini bar in the room and a ther is a very small place just to hang a few pieces of your colthes. No wardrobe .Breakfast was also very limited .. no variety

The staff. Location. Very small rooms buy the friendly staff so helpful especially Ritatoui( hope i spelled her name correct, she was amazing. She really deserves recognition. We have stayed at 16 different places this trip and she was by far the friendlies and most helpful! Cant say thank you enough to her.

Good location, enough space for us, very clean and helpful staff (especially the one who helped me with depositing luggage).

The hotel was in a good area, close to a metro and with a store eight minutes away. The staff was super helpful. The room was spacious. It had air conditioning

The elevator can only fit one to two people.

During my stay the staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful. A few of the tourist attractions are within walking distance (30-40 min to Louvre) The hotel is very close to Metro stations. Its very close to shopping malls. Plenty of small shops and boutiques on the same street as the hotel as well as the neighboring streets. Plenty of restaurants and bars close by and on same street. In my opinion too close to restaurants because of very strong smell of especially Chinese food.

Overwhelming smell of Chinees food gets sucked into the room via a/c. The rooms are small, so you have to keep your carry-on closed and tucked in at all times so that you can walk in and out of the room or go to the bathroom. The bathtub is very narrow, so you have to stand sideways in the shower. The elevator is small, very small.

Great location, in a great and lively neighborhood. The room and the bathroom were very clean.

The room size was small for 2 people.

Proximity to attractions, cleanliness, friendliness and helpful staff

It’s in a fantastic location. The staff were friendly and helped us check in even though we arrived quite late. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I think it’s one of the best value-for-money options in Paris.

The air conditioning didn’t work and our room was very warm compared to the outside temperature. To cool the room we had to open the window but it was then very noisy from the street noise and traffic. The photographs on the website were very misleading. The night manager was not helpful.

Very cute hotel in the heart of Paris with walking distance to the main parts and plenty of metro stops around. Location was just excellent. Also the room was quiet, bed comfortable and it was a bath tub and the bathroom of a normal size. Cleaning was good. We did not take a breakfast. But it’s plenty of places around. Also the street with cheap Asian food cafes.

The room was very hot during the night, did not appreciate the central heating which could not be adjusted.

I have never met such a friendly staff.in Paris for 30 years. Super nice people in lobby.Room was clear, location is great- just behind Galerie Lafayette

Perfect quiet location in Paris. Walkable to so many locations. Which was perfect. Staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Nice location, just behind G. Lafayette. The room was as clean as it could be I guess but very tired facilities. Wifi worked well

The hotel is quite worn down and very simple. My room was was in a strange place, the entrance to the room was from an outside staircase. No view at all. The reception and the small bar of the hotel had a nauseating strange smell, do not know what it was and it was also present in the room but to less extent. Would not stay here again.

We liked the location which was central for the shopping area of Galeries Lafayette. The staff were very good and helpful.

We didn’t have hand soap on the second night and it was refilled once we reported it. The cleaner did not clean the room very well and on occasions we think the cleaner did not clean at all. Our legs were really itchy and we think it could be dust mites. It’s a pity because we liked the friendly reception staff.
