    Pros +

    • The view from the room
    • Totally different than what's on website picture.
    • The restaurants, shops and metro were fantastic. It was extremely convenient and we are very well and cheaply.

    Cons -

    • Rooms located toward street are loud from street noise and bar outside and there is no ventilation in room so windows must be open.
    • Rude and lazy staff
    • The hotel needs some funding and updates. Little repairs are lacking and not everything works.

Friendly and attentive staff, room was clean and got towels changed. Free wifi. Very close to a well-connected metro line.

Bathroom had a bit of sewer odor. TV didn't have any channels. Shower didn't have a curtain, and made a mess.Elevator only goes up to 5th floor.

The beds, the location and the fact that it had a lift, were the only good thing about that place.

We didn't know that by shared bathroom they meant share one toilet and a tiny shower with 15 apartments! The staff was also rude and unfriendly. My parents were staying there with friends, because I live in Paris in student dormitory ( 100 times better than that place). They didn't let me go upstairs for even 5 minutes. I had to beg them for that. The security is insane, given the conditions. One would think it's Ritz. There was no hairdryer, spoons or fridge in the rooms, just some rugged towels. The trash was thrown once for 4 days and in the common bathroom after 3 days. There is no handler for the towels in the bathroom or soap. How did that place even receive approval for a hotel? I've stayed at better hostels than that. Would recommend it just for one night, NOT MORE!

The staff was very helpful and understanding and upgraded our booked room for the difference in the price. There was always someone at the reception. They also changed our towels and made our beds. The staff was great, from the reception to the cleaning ladies. The metro line Belleville is very close, maybe 50-100 meters, there a lot of restaurants and a pharmacy nearby. The neighbourhood looks colourful to a european, but friendly faces and no issues. First time to Paris, and this place was an OK stay, not awful, but just... ok. Also, get a face cream, there is dry wind in Paris. I mean cracked lips and dry face. We got one from a pharmacie nearby for a few euros.

The doubleroom had a window to the inside of the building, where the "fresh" air was not fresh, it was all the smells from some ground floor restaurants. Because of that, the room was not really ventilated, it didn't have a fan or window in the bathroom, so the whole air was stale. No mold, but no fresh air. Also felt very crammed. We upgraded after a 1 hour nap there. Very disapointing for us. However, the triple room was ok for a two person stay. It was considerably larger, two windows towards the street, the drapes are good if you want intimacy, and you can also stare at each other with the persons in the fast food restaurants across the street, if that is your pleasure. The bathroom had a ventilator, the room was spacious. It's not the cleanlinest feel, but you can sleep, shower, go potty. Also, the toilet is a bit crammed, if you like your space when you are taking your time on the throne, it's not there.

I came to Paris for the first time and I was delighted with the hotel, it's okay for the money, the staff is very friendly.I would single out Coco from the reception, he helped us so much with everything related to the organization, directed us to good places in Paris, thus completing the whole picture of our trip to Paris, constantly smiling, polite to the max, friendly, in one word for me he should be the Hotel Director.I will definitely come back again God bless with my girlfriend, see you soon. Coco Director!with Rispect NecoAll the best!

Bad and not worth it, not even for the price

The room was dirty, and they charge a deposit previous to our arrival. They said they’ll give it back after the check out, but it took almost 3 weeks

    The very bad experience ever

Upon arrival, I was shocked by the unprofessional and disrespectful behavior of the hotel management. Although my confirmed reservation clearly shows a triple room for 3 adults . the hotel manager told me that the reserved room is the one he personally occupies. He insisted that I must accept a different room in poor condition. The room I was given is completely unsuitable and unacceptable:•It has severe drainage issues in the bathroom.•The toilet seat is broken.•The bathroom door handle is defective, and at one point my son was locked inside the bathroom for almost half an hour.•The room is too small even for two persons, making it impossible to accommodate three guests as booked.•There is no wardrobe or proper storage space for clothes, which forced us to keep our luggage open on the floor throughout the stay. When I raised these concerns, the manager responded with rudeness and complete disregard, telling me simply to complain to Booking.com. This has caused me and my children great distress, discomfort, and even a sense of insecurity during what was supposed to be a family holiday in Paris.

Very nice family running the hotel - very accommodating and helpful, let us store our luggage before and after stay. Perfect location for lots of good restaurants and close to metro station.

I loved the experience. The place was authentically Parisian. A room with a bed, a sink and a beautiful view with no AC. But it was a good price. And i didn’t mind!

The bathroom was shared and outside the room.

Room had leaky sink and mold. Shower was unusable due to sewer and mold smell. We stayed but kept the window and hall door open to try to clear the air. We did not notice problems in other rooms or complaints from other guests. It was safe, access to metro super easy. If the defects noted above were resolved I would recommend.

    Staff was great.

Neighbors were hypocrites. They wanted us to be super quiet while they banged and yell across the floor Rooms were extremely hot. No fans and no air flow. I wouldn’t recommend for the summer.

The hotel has the bare minimum you can expect, and everything they provided actually worked no problem:1)The bedsheets were changed every day, the bed was ok2)The rubbish was taken away every day3)The furniture was in a fair condition, nothing damaged4)The TV was also fully functional if you need it5)The hotel had an elevator as a definite benefit6)The metro station is exceptionally close to the hotel- around 150m7)The price was really good if all you need is a private room and a shower, since we spent the whole daytime in the city centre 8) Surely we were allowed to leave our luggage till evening on the day of check-outFor your 200 eur per 3 nights in Paris it purely fulfills the task of accommodating you

1)There was a terrible smell of cigarette smoke from the neighboring rooms' windows2)The bathroom floor didn't seem to be hygienic enough to stand barefoot, also not even a small shelf to put a shampoo somewhere3)The old wallpapers on the wall began to peel away in the corners, but not many would notice4)Every time you want to go outside, you have to leave the keys at the reception5)The luggage storeroom wasn't locked, though is right next to the reception
