Handsome Hotel

Pretty boutique hotel. Near a metro stop and surrounded by several stores, restaurants and bars. Very central (right by the new Forum des Halles). They give you a cell phone to take around with you and make free calls on. The front desk is attentive.

Small rooms. Although each room has its own thermostat, the central AC is used seasonally. While we were here, it was cool outside so it wasn't turned on. We opened the windows which was great for temperature but loud. Trade off for being near hangouts.

Nice location. Close proximity to all sightseeing place.

Elevator a very small, need to make multiple trips when loading and off loading luggage.

The hotel front desk managers were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I really appreciated that. The decor of the lobby and my room was warm and welcoming. The mini elevator was cute and modern. My room was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. I was expecting noise from the busy walkway avenue that my window faced, but it was generally quiet. The transit system and huge mall just steps away was very convenient. Tons of small shops, cafes, and attractions are within close walking distance as well. I look forward to staying at Handsome Hotel again in the future.

Lack of ability to control the AC

Great location and desk staff. It was very quiet at night. We liked the neighborhood a lot.

Our room was unbelievably small. The elevator is claustrophobia-inducing and the spiral staircase took some getting used to.

Convenient and easy location, comfortable bed

Room is very small and the elevator is tiny! I also had 2 lamps in the room that would not turn off, only dim, so they were on all night

The room didn;t have a coffee maker or a kettle but the front desk provided one when I asked.

The hotel is quaint and the decor is simple with some vintage style. When we arrived, the front desk staff member didn’t hesitate to help us with our luggage. The check in was quick. The breakfast was also pretty good for such a boutique hotel. And bonus, unlimited coffee and water. Finally, the location is great. Access to tons of walkable restaurants and historic sites. There is also the mall next to us so we could grab any last things we needed.

Everything is pretty tiny. The elevator is really meant for one person with luggage at a time. I am a lighter traveler so it is fine for me but not my family. The toilet is also in a very tight space. In addition, i wish they had usb chargers. I brought a converter but would've just provided more convenience to multiple outlets. I was there for a wedding and unfortunately my bathroom outlet was unusable because someone had already fried it. I hope they fix that for future guests. Finally, they give you unlimited coffee and water, however, going in the summer, we could've really benefited from having a mini fridge yo keep drinks cold or having an ice machine in the building. Finally, the pillows were very uncomfortable. They were very flat.

Location is excellent and very easy to find. Room very small. Reception staff was very friendly and welcoming.

The lift in hotel was smaller than small. There was a strange smell in our room on arrival but went away after a day or so. Some strange smells in hotel also which may have come from Metro.Breakfast was ok but not the best. Last day was there at 9am and no bacon left. Bed not the comfiest. Not a lot of storage room mainly to do with size of room.

Beautiful room, lovley bed, very quite except some pedestrian noise from street which was to be expected as the hotel is city centre and within 300 yards of 3 metro lines.

Breakfast only had an ok selection of hot and cold choices.

Really good location, close to a lot of activities even at walking distance.

Soundproofing... mornings are hell, your hear litteraly everything, especially the cleaning ladies in that hallway.

The location was awesome, friendly staff and the room was clean

There was a strong smell coming from the shower drain that seemed to disappear when we turned the shower on and let the water run other than that everything was good.

Perfect location, stylish and cosy, comfy beds

Only thing was the tiny elevator and narrow corridors (was a bit hard with large suitcases) but this is normal for city hotels in the heart of Paris. We had some problem with the bathtub mot draining but I am sure they fixed it, we just stayed for a night and let the staff know upon our check out. Staff were nice and friendly so I am sure they took it in account.

The property is not like shown in images at all, it is dirty and small. You cannot walk through the halls because it’s such a small hotel and they leave trash all throughout them

Service was not good, the staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. The room was not cleaned to the standard I would expect for this price range on booking.com. Would not recommend

Too expensive for what it is!!Room extremely small and dark,No actually a desk or a place by the bed to rest your things only tiny shelves that already had the telephone and water on.Bathroom mirror not over the sink but behind…You cannot open a luggage bag at the tiny corridor in front of the bed, you need to open it on the bed

The location was very convenient for me. Bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were clean and modern.

It is incredibly tight. Space is super cramped.Evening staff was not so friendly. Morning staff however was okay. Room temperature setting cannot be adjusted, it was HOT during the night.
