Modern's Hotel

Location was great. Close to the train station. Staff was very nice.

Older and in much need of updating. It wasn't very clean. Walls were dirty as were the drapes. No air conditioning and no fans were available. Nothing modern about it. But, since we were in Paris we didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel.

This hotel was completely unacceptable. The property was dirty and poorly maintained. I strongly advise people not to stay here. The staff were rude, unprofessional, and clearly not trained in basic customer service. They did not know how to properly welcome or communicate with guests. They were unavailable both during the day and at night, which is unacceptable for any hotel. On top of that, there is no elevator, which makes it even more inconvenient. Overall, this was a very disappointing and frustrating experience.

Horrible!!!

Nothing and I mean nothing at all photos they claim. It was disgusting, the sheets were stained, the towel had some black stuff on it. There were no soap it smelled and within a few hours my throat were jammed and my eyes were swollen. The stair case where very narrow and I had 2 suitcases.

Nothing to like in this property all worst

There is no lift at the property, and the place is very poorly maintained. I strongly recommend removing this hotel from Booking.com, as it could damage your reputation.This is one of the worst places I’ve seen in Paris.

shower was either scolding hot or ice cold. cigarette smell if opened the window, but heater wouldnt turn off so super hot. broken hanger. no elevator. dirty bathroom

I liked one thing that I could passed the night.

,they showed modern room but gave the old one and the last portions ,it was not clean ،There were biting insects that caused sores and blisters on several parts of our bodies during the night.

Convenient to Gare du Lyon

At check in the reception tried to charge me 25e city tax. He said because the room was large ( it wasn't) . You should pay circa 4e per person per night. He really pressured me to pay ( and by card which I didn't) . I paid 4e

Location. At arrival staff was helpful. Only to stay for a night when you require yo reach the train station quickly.

Not really clean. Facilities require refurbishment. Very noisy as well.

It was filthy under the bed, the pillows were lumpier than my nans custard, for the price of the teeny tiny room it was a disgrace.

Ideal for being near the station. We were only there for about 6 hours so perfect for this, not a hotel to spend a few days in.

Rooms are very small but enough for what we need for our 6 hours

Friendly mornign staff.

Facilities are very basic. The entire room needed a deep clean and a lick of paint. No coffe machine anywhere - not even at reception.

The hotel is close by gare de Lyon, so it is quite convenient for travellers awaiting for the next connection

Availability an hour before we booked and was close to the station we needed for an early train the next morning.

Everything. We expected it to be bad due to the reviews but the toilet wasn’t clean upon arrival. Bed was full of stains. Bed bugs in the bed. Bathroom was completely peeled up and smelt like urine and old pipes. Bathroom tap was mouldy
