Excellent location with bus & metro connections. Walkable (25-30 min) to the Bnf Francois Mitterand, in addition to a direct bus line. The recent change in Paris public transportation, separating fares and Navigo cards for metro and bus made it difficult, however, to utilize them well. Next to a fair-sized park and lots of Asian restaurants. Very fast Internet connection.
The facility is what you expect of Parisian two star hotels, some with no windows, although it's well-managed. Breakfast is too expensive at 12 euros and not worth the money, unless included in the hotel price.
Staff friendly. Quiet, clean rooms. Well located for me (I was visiting family in 13e). Very cute and well equipped breakfast room.
The room was good
It was a bit cold, also they should replace the towels every day because there is not enough place to hang them and it’s difficult to get them dried. Lastly the breakfast included was limited and can be improved.
The property was conveniently located and fairly priced.
The room was quite small and the shower would leak water onto the floor.
The only good thing, and I really mean it by saying only good thing, is that the hotel is close to the metro station and place d'Italie
First, due to a delay in my flight, I arrived to the hotel at 01:00am, with three big luggage, just to discover the hotel doesn't have an elevator and my room was on the the first floor! And on top of everything, the "very gentleman" from the reception desk didn't accept to help me getting my luggages upstairs saying that it was out of his working hours and if he get injured while helping me he'll not be covered! Knowing I'm a woman and I was alone! ZERO HUMANITY!Beside that, the room was way tooooooo small, there wasn't even any space to open one of my luggage! And ofcourse no need to tell how the shower was small, I couldn't even turn around when I was in...On the third night of my stay, we woke up at 02:30 am on a false fire alarm and we went outside the hotel in the middle of the night, we waited 10 minutes until the same (gentleman) from the reception desk came and told us apparently someone was smoking in his room. We went back to our rooms, and 20 minutes later the fire alarm went on again!!!! Walls between rooms are so thin, I heard everything my neighbours were saying! On the last day of my stay in this hotel, I found flying ants in my room!!! It was a very bad experience in this hotel!
Location was very close to the metro, staff were very helpful, I liked the design of the hotel and a mate check in was not a problem.
Walls between rooms are a little thin. I could hear the conversations in the rooms next to me.
loved the area & the room was bigger than expected & nicely decorated
there were ants in our room & any food we left out had to be thrown away because of it, also there was no elevator available & we were on the highest floor with huge luggage, so keep that in mind if u come here
The room was small but cozy, plenty for 1 person. Location was excellent, few min walk from Tolbiac station.
Staff were lovely, great price for what you get, room was small but perfect for what I needed
Above all, the staff were extremely helpful, especially at check-in. The space of the hotel isn’t large, but the decor and design really make the best of it. It’s near a metro station, an attractive park, and a good supermarket (by the station), and the price was unbeatable. The breakfast was excellent too - especially the sourdough baguettes (one of the two on offer). I liked it also that there are additional breakfast items available on request. Merci, Hôtel des Beaux Arts!
Staff was very accommodating for all of my needs. Room was small but was perfect for 1 person. Area was nice!
The exterior and the interior decor were really nice. I liked the location close to the oldest Asian neighborhood (there are several Chinatowns now in Paris). Try the self-serve soup restaurant Mala Tang next door! It's super delicious. There are about a dozen boba shops around. The staff was very kind and accommodating.
If you're in Paris to look at monuments, this place isn't close to much. One thing I need to tell the management about: the rooms are tiny but well-designed, but there is a very sharp metal shelf that holds the toilet paper and I really hurt myself when I bumped into it. It could be dangerous, especially for a bigger person.
The breakfast was minimal in the selection, and it was the same both days. However, I never left unsatisfied, or hungry.
There was one window in the room, and that window was located in the bathroom. The view was to another room’s bathroom.Additionally, seeing as my room was on the first floor I never felt safe in leaving the window open during the day.
I loved the decor, it was super chic and modern. Newly renovated in an older building which I really enjoyed the contrast.
I think it would’ve been nicer if there was an air conditioning system… it did get stuffy for a bit.
The location and the staff are very welcoming.
Noise penetration between rooms.
The staff were extremely generous!! Our flight was canceled just two hours before boarding time. We arrived at almost midnight! Staff were very helpful as we checked in late.Morning breakfast was delightful both days! We will plan our next trip with booking there again!
We wouldn't change anything about Hôtel des Beaux Arts! The experience was lovely!
It’s a clean and comfortable hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. It’s well located for access to the Metro, too.
The heat couldn’t be turned down, so the only option was to open the window. This wasn’t too bad, really, but a bit inconvenient.
