Pros +
- The hotel was on the outskirts of main attractions but Metro was walking distance. They don¿t change stained sheets you have to ask. Rooms were cleaned every day- the housekeeping woke me up regardless of how tired I was or sleeping.
- Staff was so helpful and friendly. Location was far enough from the chaos of the city center to be relaxing and give a real feel to a Parisian neighborhood while being easily connected by the metro to get anywhere across the city quickly.
- We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were very polite and helpful, the room was clean, and everything was comfortable. The atmosphere was pleasant and made our stay enjoyable.
Cons -
- The initial room was not meant for 2 persons. Bed was against the wall and I fell trying to get out. They offered a handicap room on ground level. While using the hair dyer it went on fire, the wire popped out and fell on wet floor. Very scary.
- Really nothing. Would recommend to anyone and already have.
- The only thing we missed was a refrigerator in the room, which would have made the stay even better.

Amazing location, quite neighborhood. Nearby — pastry shops, pharmacy, clothing shops, everything you need. Beautiful room with nice design, comfortable bed, friendly personnel. Amazing park — just 10 minutes walk.
Would be nice to have a place to hang clothes.
We had a nice room with balcony for 4 nights. Room was cleaned every day and was nicely decorated. Location was great next to metro station and lot of restaurant nearby. Good bed. Can recommend and would stay again.
Room was a bit small and didn’t like the bathroom sink in the room side. But we loved our stay overall.
Hotel Max is the best place anyone can book while in Paris. It’s easy to catch train to get to anywhere in the city with ease with about 3 minutes walk to the Alesia metro. The place is very clean and well taken care of. The staff are very polite and always willing to help. Many thanks to Mus, he made us feel at home.
Hotel Max is in a nice area. It is trendy and well maintained. The staff were great!
The hotel and the Alesia area are very nice, the hotel provided everything you need, all according to the pictures. Staff very friendly and you can decide on the breakfast last minute.
Sometimes you can hear people walking on the stairs in the hall or TV and people chatting in neighboring rooms. But it was only for a moment and not a real problem for us.
Hotel Max is the perfect place for a Paris stay. I booked it for my daughter and her friend for their first time in Paris. The room was perfect - comfortable, modern, and in a central location to catch the metro, with local bakeries, cafes, and food markets. They used Uber and taxis also - and walked, as you do in Paris. Breakfast was great to set them up for the day. They liked Hotel Max and its staff so much they booked for another four days. Their stay was the perfect setting to fall in love with Paris, an experience that will be with them for a lifetime and future visits to come. Thank you for looking after them Hotel Max!
It was perfect.
Everything. Breakfast is nicely done and served. Rooms are very clean and new. AND outstanding front desk staff! Can’t remember a city hotel with such lovely and great personnel! Well done!
The staff was so accomodating and helped me with several issues unrelated to the hotel. Clean, non chain hotel in a safe, non touristy area(but easily accessible to central Paris!)
Good location in relatively quiet street near Metro and bus stops.Helpful friendly staff.
A little cramped (no room for armchair or desk).
Excellent location! Hotel was clean, comfortable and very convenient. Staff very friendly and helpful. Best hotel in Paris yet!
Room was lovely, very comfy and quiet. Location was superb and so easy to get to and navigate from.
A lovely hotel in one of Paris' most beautiful arrondissements. We were worried we'd be a little far out, but the metro station is very close, and there were also things to do in the local area. I can particularly recommend a walk around Parc Montsouris. The hotel itself is modern and clean and our room was well serviced every day, with a few lovely touches like a coffee machine. The shower was excellent. We booked a larger room and were glad that we did as it was still only just big enough, really - though smaller rooms are always to be expected in Paris. The staff were super friendly, with brilliant English and great humour. We didn't have breakfast but the downstairs seating area was very nice. Overall highly recommended and we would definitely stay again.
The only real complaint was the lack of headboard on the bed. We understood why they had laid it out like this as the bed is in front of the window and I think that they didn't want to block light, but it meant a) the pillows slipped off the bed continually during the night and b) we missed being able to sit in bed earlier in the morning and plan our day. A low headboard would have made so much difference. The bed itself was comfortable and wide but not very long - my feet hung off the end.The lift is teeny tiny (two people max) but this was no issue for us - just an FYI if you have mobility issues. Otherwise everything exceeded our expectations.
The room was nice, clean, and quiet. The staff was helpful, informative, and kind. The location is great and near a metro that can easily take you anywhere in the city. Would absolutely stay here again!
We loved our stay at Hotel Max. It's a little quirky in its design. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Mouss especially is a real credit to the hotel - he made us feel so welcome. The continental breakfast was lovely with a bit of everything! I have only knocked the score down a little because of the very low bed and the chairs at breakfast, which are challenging if you have dodgy knees, but otherwise we could not fault the hotel and we will definitely book it again next time we're in Paris.
Most friendliest team at Hotel Max! Je vous remercie. I love the area in the 14th arrondisement - it’s a lot less crowded, and has a nice atmosphere.
Great neighborhood, near metro, plenty of bistros
Room was quite small, almost triangular
Staff extremely friendly and helpful, location felt safe and great for cafes, restaurants and transport links, room clean & comfortable (added bonus of terrace).
