Arc De Triomphe Etoile Hotel

The only positive aspect of this hotel is the location, which is excellent and very convenient.

I stayed at Arc de Triomphe Etoile for one night.Unfortunately, everything except the location was disappointing. The room was old and poorly maintained, and there was visible mold in the bathroom. The “shower” was simply a corner of the bathroom with a drain in the floor — no proper shower cabin, no curtain, and no separation. After showering, the entire bathroom floor was wet. This is not what I expect from a 4-star hotel.I was also given a ground-floor room with two large street-facing windows, which felt uncomfortable and offered very little privacy. Overall, the room felt unpleasant and not up to standard.I would not recommend this room to anyone.

The room was very small, the bathroom sink was next to the bed which I felt was a little bit disturbing

The babies crib didnt habe a mattress which is shocking.When the room was cleaned the most probably used with unclean water, so the smell wasent nice. They recleaned it after I mentioned it.

Ask casually for a connecting room durimg booking and the hotel actually delivers.This is service beyond expectation from a small hotels to have connecting rooms. All staff are pleasant and cheefrul in delivering their service. Location central, excellent n convenient. Amenities adequate. Because you have to hand over the room keys (old fashion keys) every time we we go out, we have 24/7 reception.We took 4 rooms. Though we had 3 on 1st floor n 1 on GF, i did not hear much noise from street traffic. There were several hotel in this area I tried to booked earlier but were either priced higher or popular becos of review, I decided on this hotel due to last minute offer and great location. I have stayed in this location several times before snd loved it. Lastly, seems like they are listing of hotel sharing the same name, so need to confirm the address carefully before booking.

Nothing much to complaint about, just the design of the shower area , it causes the water to flow out and wet the bath room. But then again, it happens to most modern designed hotel shower area which are not fully enclosed. Oh...bottled water was provided on arrival and not refilled for the 2 subsequent days.

The Hotel is is being classed as a 4 Star hotel but has none of the facilities. Breakfast BAD.

The Hotel is being advertised as a 4 star hotel on Booking.com. It has none of the facilities of a 4 star Hotel. The Breakfast is very bad. No choice at all. Very little available. The breakfast room is the size a bedroom. Not what you expect of a 4 star Hotel. The lift is super small. 2 people can hardly fit into the lift (that small). The facilities in the room are mediocre for a 4 Star Hotel

Really nice, friendly staff, spacious room, quiet, great location.

Location is great, very close to the Arc de Triomphe and metro/RER station line A. Getting to and from the airport was easy using the RER with only one change. We stayed for our anniversary and to go to an event in Le Defense. This hotel is right on the RER line that goes directly to the arena with no changes. The hotel is around a 30 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a ground floor room as I have mobility issues. Staff set out rose petals and garlands for our anniversary which was a lovely touch. This hotel asks you to leave your key at reception when you go out which I thought I wouldn’t like but actually it took away any worry of losing the key and there was never any wait to get the key back on our return. Would happily stay in this hotel again.

Our shower was wet room style and there was no barrier for the water so it would spread into our room a little. I’m reasonably confident on my feet indoors so was able to manage okay but this could be a risk for some.

The location was excellent with friendly staff and a well decorated twin bedroom on the 3rd floor. Good choice of continental breakfast options available.

The doorstop in the bedroom for the bedroom door is a trip hazard. It would be great to.have a grab handle in the shower and the washhand basin in the bathroom rather than in the bedroom.

Location is two minute walk to Arc de Triomphe and Charles de Gaulle-Étoile metro stop. Hotel room has tiled floors so a bit hard on the feet and legs. Staff were nice. Self serve laundromat and decent convenience store nearby. Bed was comfortable.

Tiled floors could be mopped. Need to hand in the key to reception when you go out as it is an actual key, not an electronic keycard, so problematic if you lost it. Have not had to do this in years!

View from the bedroom was not great, could see the main road from the small bathroom window but the main windows looked out on to opposite rooms.

Location was perfect. Lots of shops bars and restaurants near the hotel. There is even a club and supermarket. Near the metro, saw the arc de triomphe everyday. The big bus tour started and stopped at the top of the road. Near the Eiffel Tower and shops. I could easily walk or take one bus to most of the attraction I booked. Room was quiet and comfy and they upgraded us to a superior room so that we would have more space. We had to leave our key every time we went out which made me feel more secure because I was worried I would lose it. Very friendly staff, very clean hotel. We stayed in 3 hotels in Paris including the one at Disneyland and we both thought this one was the best. This will be my hotel of choice when visiting Paris again.

Lift was a bit small but that’s more the design of the building. I also didn’t like the minibar, we don’t really do that in the uk any more. Anything left in hotels is usually complimentary so my daughter rushed in and opened some €7 nuts!

Great location and fantastic friendly staff at the desk at all times. Wi-Fi was super fast.
